I was wondering if anyone else noticed anything….
At Brightshare, for the past 4 months straight, my stats have gone a little fruity. It ALWAYS starts around the 11th-12th of the month. It ALWAYS ends on the 14th-16th.
Basically, what I see is a complete stoppage in playing during the first phase. Then, I will see a jump in numbers. Finally, I will see a complete revert back to the old numbers.
For example, if I had a player that has spent $5601.12 at the casino and my take is (for examples sake) $1680. Near the 11th, even though this player has consistently played daily over the year on a daily basis, the play will stop. On around the 14th (and the 14th has actually ALWAYS been the day), the player stats show that they have played quite a bit more. On the 15th, the stats numbers revert back to exactly $5601.12 / $1680.
This exact scenario has happened for 4 months straight and it is starting to worry about me because it reeks of stats fixing. NOW – I have trusted BrightShare for a long time and have sent them a lot of traffic because of it, but I was curious if anyone else is seeing this.
I have requested an interface into my stats numbers (over lifetime) so that I can run them through math calculations to see trends, but in the meantime I would like to get opinions on what anyone else has seen?
Thanks.

They are a consistent earner and Lloyd is one of the better affiliate managers around. I am sure he will help you get to the bottom of this.

I hate the bundling, they have absolutely minute exposure now because there are too many wipe out months.
I am waiting for ecogra and I may blacklist after that statement.

I see it too in terms of new players. Zero new players for the first days of the month – although they are getting the same traffic from the same place every day. Emailed llyod and didnt get a real answer yet.June 20, 2006 at 8:38 pm #696179AnonymousGuestwould sure go a long ways towards explaining why it is that i make literally 20 times less here than my best sponsor.
… I really should have yanked them a long time ago. Even without the bundling they still under-perform their peers by such a large amount …
I used to feel I had some superior marketing angles using a couple of their properties but they still just don’t hold their own.
now with the jackpot factory seo fiasco …
I may end up taking them down. I’ve grown tired of waiting for them to come into their own. They will need to increase bottom line by extreme amounts in a short time to avoid falling off my radar.

However, I can say that I have done very well with Brightshare thus far.
My only problem is from the 11th-15th of the month (every month) when my stats are VERY flakey. I truly do not believe that this could happen, statistically speaking, 4-5 months in a row at the same time of the month in the same manner. It just doesn’t ‘add up’.
I’ll keep on him – Lloyd is a good guy, I can say that, but I definitely need an answer to this.

As if they allow thousands of webpages to be uploaded into their webspace without taking a peek. And, now eCogra wants to do a full investigation to make it look like they are paying attention? Whatever.
I earn with jackpot factory, but they are really making idiots out of themselves.

ya, I’ve begun to delete anything to do with mentioning eCOGRA because their credibility is now shot to hell due to them taking away the seal from JF but not doing anything to 888.com.
Too bad because I think had eCOGRA not been funded by 888, that they might have made a difference. I don’t think the day-to-day operations of eCOGRA were tainted, but when I find out the money behind it came from the very casino they are not punishing (for actions just as bad if not worse) as another group they have punished …
well that’s math a 2 year old could do.
