InactiveIt appears cpays is pushing a new casino, glowingcasino, and they are only using blackhatters to do it.
The blackhatter’s IPs range from 70.87.149.64 to 70.87.149.127
This casino is being pushed to the top of top terms by hundreds of thousands of sites.
when you go to the casino and leave, this popup pops:
xhttp://www.glowingcasino.com/offers.phtml
What hyppocrites!!!!
Some examples:

InactiveThis sort of thing is going to drive me freakin nuts! There seems to be somebody’s hands in my pocket all the time.
Cpays I don’t promote and will never, regardless of the BS. greek39
BTW I did do some reasearching into scraping. The general concensus is that it is illegal as per your disclaimer. There are many cases where scrapers have been convicted.

InactiveI’m still trying to deal with the 20,000 odd .pl and .info sites linking to me or scraping my content, before I turn to cpays.

Concentrate on one problem at a time, like I always say ” chase two rabbits both get away”. The theme for me is very much like the last episode of the “God Father”. I have tried to stay clear of old things I used to do, but I am always being pulled back in.
The sitution is turning rather ugly, I refuse to launch a hackerdome against these bandits. greek39

InactiveThe pl crap has been slowly reducing and is going to disappear, thanks to google.
We have to do something about the last program to still pay blackhatters n this industry.
If we get everyone in the industry to stop paying them, they will shrivel up and disappear.

I am seeing the number of .pl sites and .info crap linking to my sites increase daily. Regardless of daily spam reports I make to google. But I agree with you Dom in principle.

InactiveSpam reports do help and is the ethical way of doing things. Google is subjected to the internet not vice versa. The people doing the crimes reside on the the net, this is why Google will have a tough time dealing with them. The internet is a soveriegn entity and is not subjected to Google. Google has no internet prowness.
If you can understand this concept you have come along way. greek39

Still there but reduced.
There is always new crap though.
We need to cut the money off and they’ll wither away.
This glowing casino is brand new and starting to rank because of the blackhat backlinks. It is the only way they promote it…

InactiveFYI–Glowing Casino is not new. It has been around over a year now and almost instantly, hit page 1 of Google under the kw “online casino.” Not sure why you’re just catching this.

This info isn’t my own sleuthing either, people send me stuff.
It annoys me that cpays takes such an angel white public stand and still has so much junk floating around out there. And it’s alot of junk.

InactiveI can only assume Dominque you had a nice chat with Eilion, the most unsavory character indeed. There are plenty of issues to be concernned with, this is one of them.
cpays has been burning for a long time now, the bigger they get the more corrupt they become. Roguing and complaining does put a dent in the problem, but it is a far cry from what really should be done. Mark my words Google or any other SE with never be able to fix the problem because it is impossible. Google is a search engine not the internet. Again for this reason alone Google cannot control that is which not theirs, the internet. This is fact not fiction
This would require unethical approaches which I stay clear from doing. I have been there once and don’t want to return. But if I did I would attack the people doing it. Track them down wipe out a couple of hard drives, maybe lauch an attack against these BH forums, Corkscrew the whole site. Perhaps do some buffer overflows ect…
At this juncture its a waste of my time and income. In the end I am only hurting myself.

InactiveI haven’t talked to anyone from cpays.
Not lately and not about this anyway, they do keep contacting me trying to buy space.
