I run a small danish gambling portal and I was approached by a representative for the affiliate program “affiliate edge”.
URL : https://bas.bosscasinos.com/After some discussion a specific poker promotion was agreed upon and I was asked to sign up. The representative sent me banners to be placed in my site.
I then approached the representative to ask for a casino promotion. While the representative was checking what they could offer, I noticed that the casino site itself had a ban on Danes. This puzzled me a bit since my portal is danish and run on a .dk domain.. And I was approached by mail on that domain exactly.
I mentioned this to the representative, which following negated on all the offers already put in place.. Including the poker offer (the poker site has no mention of restrictions on danes), what I was left with was wasted time and an impression of a site that make their bonus rules on the fly.
The casino in question is: http://casino-for-me.com/
The poker room in question is: http://www.a-winning-hand.com/
The representative told me that the poker/casino manager had forbidden her to run the promotions.. Had I not mentioned the casino restriction I am certain that the poker promotion would have run without trouble. Now my diligence was punished by exclusion of all my players in all games..
Thanks for wasting my time affiliate edge..

sounds like it was someone from a-winning-hand who wasted your time… Who was it? name and shame please…
AWH is a skin on the boss network, and probly didn’t do their homework. Affiliate edge is just a software backend for affiliates to log into.

AffiliateEdge is part of the Boss Media package – licensees can choose to use it or not.
If you are looking for a reputable Boss Media Casino/Poker room, look at our company – CasinoClub.com & CasinoClubPoker.com have been around since 2001 and we a publucly listed company.
December 11, 2008 at 10:57 am #789868AnonymousInactiveThanks for the correction guys..
You are both completely right.. It was a representative of AWH that contacted me. I promised that person not to individually name him/her.
After all I got the impression that it was the floor manager that ruined the deal in the end. It might have been smoke, but I took it for a straight answer.
I did however send the link to this thread to the person and I know that they are watching the thread, but apparently not willing to answer it.

February 3, 2009 at 3:46 pm #794335AnonymousInactiveJust a *bump* and some more info related to Affiliate Edge.
I was contacted by one of our rakeback players who signed up at Habana Poker. As the few affiliates who promoted Habana know, they shut off affiliates within just a few months of launching.
It appears they have relaunched their affiliate program through Affiliate Edge.
Given their past record, I would not touch Habana Poker or Affiliate Edge as long as they are associated with Habana Poker, with a 10 foot cattle prod.
What a wonderful way to make extra money! Open your affiliate program through one company (Income Access), close it 3 months later and get a revenue bump, then reopen it through another affiliate company (Affiliate Edge)!
Habana Poker = Trash.
Affiliate Edge = Trash for associating themselves with Habana PokerFebruary 3, 2009 at 4:24 pm #794341neophyteMemberLMAO @ this rant ^^^^
Affiliate edge is the boss media backend, not an affiliate site

February 23, 2009 at 1:22 pm #795820neophyteMemberI know celebpoker.com pays US affiliates via paypal or moneybookers etc, and their support is second to none (I push them over all boss media brands because of this).. they are also one of the larger partners on boss media network.
give them a whirl IMO. http://celebpoker.com/affiliate/
February 23, 2009 at 4:00 pm #795833ChekcmeoutMemberWe were notified at GamTrak today that our account had been locked for “illegal” US registrations. When I asked why the players couldn’t just be banned the reply was “I was told to close your account sorry.”
And just think, two weeks ago this rep was begging us to sign up at the poker site. :flush:
