I have been reading the posts and, to be honest, I can not quite figure out what the final word is regarding players that affiliates had with Empire. Can someone please help out a dumb hick?

    1. For all of our Empire Players AFTER Feb. 14, who, if anyone, is going to pay us? We had well over 200 players w/ MGR deals.

    2. Are we just screwed?

I have emailed Party Partners, Affiliates@partypoker, I Global Media, Empire and Tradal at least 5 times. I have received no response at all from Empire, I Global, Tradal or Party Poker Affiliates. I’m sure this will surprise you, but the only response I received was from Party Partners and it was a generic email which dealt with some other subject and answered none of my questions. Is it just me, or do they have the worst customer service of all time? Amazing that they continue to prosper. Any help at all would be appreciated. BTW, I am already an affiliate with Party. You think that would help me get a response but no such luck.

From my understanding… both party and empire refuse to payout any earnings based on old players. Basically those players are no longer yours.

As for party having bad service… I agree entirely.

Actually, I think everyone will be paid and Party will make the stats available to Tradal so Tradal can pay.

I still need some confirmation on that.

If that is so, I am for reinstating Party here, but I need to hear this in plain English from a Party rep.

that is not happening dominique. they’ve basically told me and other webmasters that they are not going to pay . party has said this is empire’s problem and empire is trying to deal with each webmaster separately trying to get a good deal for a settlement.

Guys I have been speaking with Rohit from Party Partners and currently we are being assured that all affiliates will continue to be compensated for their existing players by Tradal.

You will NOT lose your empire poker players (or the iGlobal casino players previously managed by Tradal)

Tradal has indicated that they will be honoring the exisiting agreement they have with affiliates for both poker and casino players.

This is EXTREMLY good news and complete details will be available shortly via a press release we are preparing on the subject.

You will note that we are lifting the suspension of Party Partners in conjunction with the affiliate compensation status issue being resolved.

    Yeah,

Tradal contacted me but has not yet replied to what I asked, and I am meeting with someone from Party in Amsterdam. I am however not in contact with any decison makers at Party anymore and have pretty well given up.

Admin, that’s not what it says on their site today:

In light of our successful and fruitful cooperation during the Empire Poker campaign, we would like to inform you of a special campaign termination payment that has been credited to your account.
This payment finalizes EOL liability to you in regards of your EmpirePoker revenues and terminates our EmpirePoker agreement (you will no longer be paid for your Empire Poker revenues).

They paid a pittance to settle what would otherwise be ongoing lifetime revenues. I’m not sure if this is their idea of a fair settlement but it sure doesn’t seem like it to me.

    Lou,

Sorry..but I too am still getting conflicting information regarding this transaction. Looks like the original deal offered to affiliates by Tradal has been revoked.

    Original email:

    Dear Affiliate,

We would like to inform you that as part of the agreement made between Empire Online and Party Gaming, we will be getting the activity stats for players who joined Empirepoker.com up until 14th February 2006.

These stats will be available on your Tradal account to see and will be updated daily as per usual.

This means that you will be paid for your players’ activity as before and will be able to track their performances on a daily basis.

Payouts will be done as usual, along with your standard traffic fees.
*Please note that this will only include players that registered before 15th Feb, 2006*

We apologize for the uncertainty and inconvenience that has happened in the last couple of weeks, but may we assure you of our commitment to deliver good business and high value into our partnership.

For any question, please contact your affiliate manager or email us at [email protected].

    Kind Regards,
    The Tradal Team

    and the new email….dated April 6, 2006

    Dear Affiliate,

I thought we had a fair settlement for the affiliates but looks like we are back to square one with potentially both parties in this deal.

This is a total about face on what I was told by Rohit. War will be meeting with them in Amsterdam to try and get a final determination/resoultion on all this.

It does help if we are going to move the goal posts each week :nono:

If anyone receives anything(which I doubt) it will come from Empire. Party says they bought the players not the affiliate program. All players we had at Empire are gone. Party has them now.

    Tradal:

sold the players that they didn’t own, they shared ownership with us.

agreed to be the one to recompense affiliates

has complete access to stats about these players

    Tradal needs to pay!!!!!

Party should be scolded for entering a deal that did not assure affs were taken properly care of. They should have practiced more due diligence. This is not behavior that encourages trust.

But at the end of the day – Tradal is fully responsible for taking care of all this now.

    I totally concur Dom…

In fact, we should remove all Tradal brands such as Noble Poker right away.

Those who have a large base of Empire players should be pissed and start a class-action suit. I would support that.

there is no doubt we got royally screwed by Tradal. I said this before that they are crooks. They sold the players and ensured that affiliates were not consulted or even taken into consideration. That’s how Noam and his crew netted $250 M from this scam, by taking advantage of the little guys who helped build their business. Tradal’s business is built essentially around affiliates so they screwed the guys who got them there.

Now’s it’s time to get back at them. There is a lot of money at stake here and we should all do our part to make sure this is not precedent setting for other operators.

ON the on the other hand I’d like to commend Intertops as I heard they actually made considerable payouts to their affiliates upon selling their PP skin. Anybody have detail on this?
