Hi Guys,
I just wanted to post today and let you know our payments should be ready for processing this afternoon.
The reason for the delay was due to our fraud department investigating CPC and CPA affiliate accounts.
Unfortunately, this meant that valid payments for the month have been delayed while the investigation and review is completed.
I am so sorry for the delay and am working on automatic processes which will avoid any delays in future months for valid affiliate payments.
Apologies again and I’ll keep you all informed if anything holds us up today.
Cheers
Trish

March 13, 2006 at 1:18 am #686065AnonymousInactiveHi Again Guys!
If I were superstitious, I’d believe someone has cursed us this month!
The fraud review is complete and all valid payments were set for processing on Friday.
Unfortunately, we’ve not been able to get this done due to a problems with the systems.
This should be correct by Wednesday, so our payments will be very late (which I again apologise for) but you will definitely get them.
Sorry again guys!
Feel free to let me buy you a beer in Amsterdam for the hassle or hit me with a random object in Vegas – which ever suits you better! lol
All the best.
Cheers

March 13, 2006 at 7:00 pm #686114AnonymousInactivesome of my friends told me they received letters from CPS not paying them this month, I am just wondering how you define a CPA or CPs fraud.
I know CPA or CPS leads to a lot of problems, but you need to give a reasonable reason before deciding not to pay affiliates, a potentional shark may lost big bucks not in the first CPA or CPC month but in the following month, if you don’t pay affiliates anything for their refering, affiliates waste time to promote your group.March 13, 2006 at 10:20 pm #686153AnonymousInactiveHi There,
Yes, with the growth of CPS it has become important for us to place stricter fraud control and bonus abuse measures in place on both the CPC and CPA programs.
We have been targeted by specific fraudulent tactics and in order to protect our good affiliates we have to tighten up. We are working with our affiliates to elimate these people who are as much of a problem to them as they are to us.
Our Fraud Department have a set of rules in place which identify these cases one by one and of course, we have the ability to make an exception for good affiliates who happen to inadvertently find themselves on the fraud control review list.
While I am aware that this might come as a shock to some affiliates (CPS has never done this before to this degree) it is necessary and quite normal for affiliate programs to do this type of thing.
Some other programs may cut an affiliate completely off for these reasons, however, as you have pointed out, we may miss out on a great affiliate due to this which is why we allow affiliates to continue promoting via Revenue Share should this occur. Revenue Share is ultimately more profitable as you are paid for life for quality players.
a potentional shark may lost big bucks not in the first CPA or CPC month but in the following month
Are you meaning a “potential shark” player? If so, you won’t earn anything from this player in the following months of their play if you deliver them via either CPC or CPA. As mentioned, Revenue Share is highly more profitable for webmasters who have quality traffic.
Having said all of that, our Fraud Department rules and standards will apply this month and going forward and we will continue to follow our terms and conditions regarding these programs.
Cheers!

Casino Profit Share.March 13, 2006 at 11:08 pm #686164AnonymousInactiveDear Trish
I admit revenue share is the best way to promote casino for both casino and affiliates. Definately, you can start Revenue share for all affiliates from March, but how about Feburary’s commission, they are already in the CPA or CPC program, if you just tell them they will not be paid for Feburary since you suspect their traffic, do you think it is fair? From your post, I guess your policy influenced quite a few number of CPA and CPC accounts, If you define most of them fraud, I guess your group will suffer a lot of complaints about the issue, in the longrun, it is not good .No affiliates will reject good revenue share plan, but I know some of affiliates do like CPC and CPA program. Hope you think about it considerably.star
March 15, 2006 at 4:40 pm #686355vladcizsolMemberTrish any updates?
Can we at least pay Net Rev affiliates? I dont blame you for reviewing CPA as fraud is rampant on that side, but the rev share affiliates shouldnt be delayed.
Do two payment runs. One for rev Share and one for CPA.

March 15, 2006 at 4:53 pm #686358AnonymousInactiveI think you should look at your earnings regarding your CPA and see if it is worth offering. I have said it before, CPA is a plan to fail as someone always gets screwed.
Good business and good business partners is what makes a good program, if someone needs to get the money up front it just leads to problems.

March 15, 2006 at 5:16 pm #686359AnonymousInactiveDitto.
If you look around CAP, with the exception of scraper sites and the occasional bad egg, CPA causes all the problems in the industry.
I guess obtaining affiliates who bring in more than they are getting paid for is the goal here, but is it really paying off enough to make up for the many possible affiliates the program scares off with complaint threads?
March 15, 2006 at 8:59 pm #686385AnonymousInactiveHi Guys,
Sorry about the payments. All of the reviews have been concluded but as mentioned in my previous update – we had a seperate issue with the system itself (nothing to do with the reviews) which unfortunately, has held everything up until today. I will be submitting the payments again to Finance this morning as a matter of priority and urgency.
I hear what you are saying regarding CPA. I think that CPA can be viable provided that it is controlled strictly and monitored closely which is what is beginning to happen this month.
Regarding complaints. I think that the reputation of CPS far outweighs any complaint regarding this particular process we are beginning to introduce. The sad fact of the matter is – ultimately, there will always be the odd complaint because it just simply isn’t possible to please everyone all of the time (as the old saying goes). Complaints and criticism are just as important to me as compliments – it makes for a better relationship and ultimately better program for everyone.
I think that I’ve been quite transparent with this month’s payment delay, many other programs may have simply chosen to go about their business and not let anyone know anything that is going on.
The pure nature of our program means that at present, our payment system is reliant on all components being complete which I am furiously working on re-building prior to heading off for CAC at the end of next week. Any delays with CPA and CPC in future months WILL NOT affect Revenue Share.
Again, I am sorry that all of this has happened this month, however it is necessary and par for the course with the growth of the program and the increase in affiliate registrations and new players we are seeing.
Cheers,
Trish

If affiliates bring quality players, affiliate lost with CPA , if the player’s quality is poor, casino lost, but if we give a large sample of it, in the long run, I think casino will win , that is why casino like to have CPA programs for affiliates although it leads to many problems. I guess CPS lost money for CPA and CPC this month, that is why they refuse to pay aff, on the other hand, players who win in CPS will come back to play, finally, they will return the winnings back to casino. 2 years ago, I just used 2000 bucks to win 10,8000 Bucks in cowboy casino, I guess my referals may never get paid, and I never come back cowboy casino again after 11 month’s cashing out winnings.
I am an exception of it. -
