Is it okay to re-direct website A to website B?

Would this hurt website B with the search engines?

    Thanks,

Thanks Roo, but here’s more to my problem as I just found out.

Site A also has 5 other sites on the block, if I do a 301 redirect from my Main site on the block using .htaccess ALL of the other websites also redirect to site B.

Possibly I would have to use the Meta Refresh but I fear that move?

    Anyone have ideas?

Sites who sole purpose is to redirect to another is a violation of most search engines policies. I do not if that’s the case here, but if it is they wii take your site out eventually.

This is the info I have straight from, Yahoo, Google, and MSN

301 is the only allowed method that I have seen discussed in SEO forums. You might want to try asking at seochat.com
