Hi everyone,
Some time ago I was contacted by an affiliate manager who said I should remove the frames from my page. I used these when someone clicks on an affiliate link of mine. ( here’s an example: http://www.casino-gids.be/casinos/bethedealer.html )
She said that the tracking wouldn’t work because of this and therefore I wouldn’t get credited for the players that clicked on these links.I have tried to test this and it seems that clicks are tracked just right. So I assume that my players will be tracked to…
Can anyone confirm this?

I don’t see how using frames could affect the tracking. As long as you use the affiliate link they gave to you, it shouldn’t matter where it is placed.

I agree with Engineer.
Frames are pretty user and Search engine unfriendly.. but as the above to state.. wherever you place an aff ID .. it should work..
Frames shouldn’t have any issue with passing link information to another site, it’s the code of the link that is important. As LadyHoldem said, frames are a big problem for search engines. There are ways around it, but why go through the pain.
Indeed they are SE unfriendly, but these pages with frames aren’t really part of my site as they are only used to open the links to casinos. (I don’t mention them in my Google sitemap) I noticed that some users bookmark these pages and find there way back to my site more easily.
