    I use an old program for website design, called claris homepage editor 3.0 With this program I can add simpel tables (this kind of looks like an ad for claris lol) and I am asking all of you learned ones out there if SE can SEE the text within the tables.

    Cause I am not getting more than 10 visitors per month and it has been up for 2 months now.

    Ditto. Tables are no problem for search engines. If they were, the search engines would be quite useless with the number of sites on the web that are built using tables. Nested tables don’t seem to be an issue either.

    But!! Tables are a bit oldschool with the emergence of css. With css you can create table-less pages with absolute positioning. You can therefore place your most important key word optimised text near the top of the page(where it counts most) and let your style sheet dictate where it must appear on the page.
