I was wondering what the rules are for starting a comp site for Party. What separates a legal comp site from one that is an illegal rakeback site?
I saw a really good comp site recently:
http://www.ppcomps.com/faq.php
It doesn’t use Party trackers and doesn’t give cash back. It does, however, give players a comp based on the volume of their play. The site says they have an arrangement with Party, and it looks like a nice, legit site.
I was wondering if our party reps can give all of us a clear guideline on what is rakeback and what is acceptable comp?

I would also like to hear an answer to that.

January 5, 2006 at 1:55 pm #679904AnonymousInactiveThank you for bringing this to our attention.
We wish to reiterate that
1. PartyPoker.com does not support Rake Back.
2. As a rule, nobody has a ‘special’ arrangement with Party, we offer a level playing field.
3. In case of this affiliate, we are reviewing the comp plan they have to see if it is essentially Rake Back in another form. If it is, you can be assured that we will be taking action to discontinue this activity.
4. If you do have a comping plan you were considering offering your players, your Account Manager at PartyPartners would be glad to work with you to evaluate it.Regards
