Hi All
OK, as a long-time casino/poker player I decided there aren’t enough poker sites out there, so I created my own! But seriously, I’d really value any feedback on:
It’s about 60% complete.
I’m working on getting a tournament feed from tournamentmonitor tonight, should be up tomorrow.
I’ll be adding another 20-30 poker rooms eventually….when the reviews are written. Time, time, time I’m afraid (especially as I still love to play the game!).
So, the next step seems to be to get TRAFFIC. I’ve read a little on SEO, I think I’ve maxed onpage optimization and am now working on getting links. Any tips?
Is LinksManager worth it?
Thanks in advance for any help, I look forward to contributing here.
The Prof!

For example you should have appropriate title tags on each page containing keywords that are also present in the text. Often your titles aren’t descriptive at all of what the pages contain.
Also your forum is not search engine friendly at all with session id:s but maybe making the forum search engine friendly can wait a little.
The keyword meta tags should always contain keywords that are present on the current page. If they contain words that are not present on the page it is a negative factor for search engines.

thanks so much for taking the time to review my site and post your feedback….looks like my onpage efforts fell quite a way short! I’ll get onto this right away.
Thanks again

I would put the hand rankings top to bottom and not left to right.

Thanks for the kind words about the design, I think we one thing we have got right so far is how the site looks!
Not sure I follow regarding the hand rankings – I thought they were top to bottom!

I figured out what you were saying – this was a problem for people using IE, I think we’ve fixed it now.
Thanks again
