Hemant or Bevess, many of us have had a HUGE drop off in earnings over the last 60 days, with last month really setting off alarm bells.
Whats going on?
Is there anything we can do to minimize this sea of red ink, chargebacks and lost earnings?
Most of us are very committed to your products and I am a HUGE fan of Party Poker and play there often, so we want your help to get things turned around and headed back in a positive direction.
Currently I am at a negative balance for the month, this should not be possible with a raked program. I have NEVER been in this position with you guys before, NEVER.
In checking with other affiliates I have heard exactly the same reports of sudden and mysterious negative balances. Clearly we need an explanation of why suddenly everyones players are producing negative revenues.
Please Help now before we are forced to make uncomfortable business decisions.

December 8, 2005 at 10:28 am #678101AnonymousInactiveWell, Party has had a good start in the fourth quarter.
http://www.partygaming.com/images/pre_close_update_07_12_05.pdf
From the report:
“Average daily gross poker revenue up 14% to $2.7 million versus Q3
Daily gross casino revenue up strongly following the launch of blackjack
Substantial cross-selling with approximately 40% of PartyPoker players now playing both blackjack and poker”
“Approximately 40% of PartyPoker.com active players are now playing both blackjack and poker. Whilst this has reduced the poker revenue generated by these players, the overall revenue generated by them during the period has increased substantially. The cross-selling of blackjack to PartyPoker.com customers contributed to a substantial increase in active player days for casino which increased to 1.6 million during the period. Excluding the first week following launch, the gross revenue in casino for the period since the launch of blackjack has ranged between $0.8 million and $1.2 million per day, which is between five and seven times higher than the average for the third quarter.”

hmmm …. that brings a point up in my mind …
Are affiliates getting credit for play if PartyPoker.com cross sell a Blackjack play?
NO – So are you stuck with dwindling poker revenues only?
YES – IF players win in Blackjack does that ruin the poker rake ?
:lookarounThe ideal situation for an affiliate would be that the “Casino” account is credited to an affiliate in a seperate account – so that large negatives do not affect Poker rake affilaites.
But does anyone know whats happening ?
Are you seeing blackjack stats in your poker affilaite reports ?

:eh:Instead of giving the affiliates a percentage of the net win or net loss of the blackjack revenue, they are giving them a percentage of the house edge. According to their latest press release, their gross casino revenue has increased 5 to 7 times compared to last quarter since the release of blackjack on Party Poker. They should be giving the affiliates a percentage of the net losses. This is HUGE MONEY affiliates are missing out on. I encourage everyone to contact their affiliate manager to see if this model can be changed.
December 8, 2005 at 8:58 pm #678145AnonymousInactiveThey are supposed to be including the BlackJack revenues for affiliates as well. All last month we had Poker + BlackJack revenue calculating in our reports, but when the final numbers came in the totals were only based on the Poker revenue. I’m assuming this is some sort of glitch in their system, but haven’t gotten a reply back from them since the beginning of the month. Maybe someone here can explain.
December 12, 2005 at 5:30 pm #678414AnonymousInactiveThanks for raising your concern to us before making your decisions. We are a little surprised because PartyPoker.com Affilaite Payouts have seen a consistant step-ladder increase month after month for the past 3 months.
However, if there are individual cases where revenues have dropped in spite of traffic levels being steady, we will be happy to look into each case and investigate what is going wrong.
We request all webmasters who have such a concern to write to us at [email protected] and we assure you of our response.
All the best,
Shaun
December 12, 2005 at 5:34 pm #678415AnonymousInactiveIn continuation to my last post:
We are providing credit for Blackjack for all our existing affiliates and since our Blackjack payables are always positive, that is not the reason for a lower payout.
We do have a player promotion that was launched in December due to which Net Revenue figures for December might look lower. Please be assured that these bonuses will be reversed before the end of the month so that affiliate payables are not affected.
December 20, 2005 at 7:02 am #678923AnonymousInactiveI’m curious to see how many affiliates on this board alone is experiencing this issue…
There seems to be a huge influx of chargebacks on all of our accounts. I’d hope that something as significant as that would be information that we, as affiliates, are entitled to.
