They have nearly 600,000 pages listed in Google, so there’s a good chance they’ve stolen content from you too…
November 9, 2005 at 7:52 pm #676015AnonymousInactiveWow, busy beavers!
November 9, 2005 at 8:17 pm #676021AnonymousInactiveWow, busy beavers!
For some reason that gave me the giggles…
November 9, 2005 at 9:18 pm #676024AnonymousInactiveMe too!
Google has been cleaning them up pretty good lately – Yahoo is a snake pit still.
I take it they stole some content from you?
November 9, 2005 at 9:29 pm #676027AnonymousInactiveI didn’t dig too deep, but “Welcome to PlunderCove.com” looked pretty familiar…
November 9, 2005 at 9:53 pm #676029AnonymousInactiveI would definitely take that as a sign…
Turn them in to their aff programs – I see they have an 888 popup ….
Most aff programs have been very helpful with these things.
November 9, 2005 at 10:44 pm #676040AnonymousInactiveGood idea. I submitted it to Google, but didn’t think to alert their progs.
Thanks!

November 11, 2005 at 5:36 pm #676218AnonymousInactiveExact same person is running xhttp://www.crystalpalacecasino.ws/online-gambling-portal/ and dozens of other sites stealing all of our content!
Hundreds of pages of scrapped content! They even scrapped Got2Bet what nerve! I seen on another site Crystal Palace stated they dont care if their affiliates steal others content! It seems 888 must have a similar policy!
I guess as long as their bastards are making them money they dont care how dirty the cabbage is! As far as I am concerned they are sleeping with the enemy and are guilty by association; IE they are just as CROOKED!
Even more disturbing is finding out who is behind the crapper Crystal Palace Casino.
November 11, 2005 at 6:11 pm #676225AnonymousInactiveTurn them all in to Google, at least that will get their sites banned and no traffic from Google.
November 11, 2005 at 8:22 pm #676236vladcizsolMemberGoogle could care less about Spam reports. I still think its a recommended course of action, but having reported scrapers and cloakers in the past I NEVER saw anything done by Google. They tend to reject legitimate sites with unique content ALOT faster then they do black hatters.
November 11, 2005 at 8:59 pm #676238AnonymousInactiveFarbeit for me to disagree with you prof, only when you are wrong, which you are not because google are usually unresponsive.
But..
There was a 8 pagerank site using my xml feed for content, but were hiding the content with an “invisible” css command. Generally speaking although not exclusively, they were outranking me for every word I wrote.
I put in a report to google and the high serp results for their pages that were nothing but what I wrote were gone by the weekend and the firm were downranked to a 4 rank on the next pr update.
Maybe it was the pagerank that got noticed in the report, which led to the quick action?
November 11, 2005 at 9:17 pm #676241AnonymousInactiveFrom what I hear google rarely responds to complaints in a direct manner.
They do, however, file these complaints and take them into consideration when rewriting algos.
So it is not usually fruitlful in the specific case, but it does help in the long run.
