InactiveEveryone has probably heard of this program its rather old school but would for sure cut down on people copying your site. I and my buddies working on modifying the program. It makes it vitually impossible for anybody to view your source code or copy it. http://www.designerwiz.com/ants/product.htm
I have some other info those 500,000 attacks on my site I redirected them all to my site. The owner of the search engine did this for me. I don’t have time to explain it properly right now but will in the next couple of days.

InactiveMaybe I did not see this on the page or I am not thinking clearly – but –
if you “hide” the source code from all sorts of robots and spiders, wouldn’t that also hide it from search engine spiders? This would not be a very ideal solution then. Stopping the scrappers but at the same time hurting your SE positions..
Correct me if I am wrong.

InactiveMy plate is really full right now. I had been without a computer for 3 years and I am just picking up steam. Not all the scrapper sites have been redirected but most have. Take a look. There is away of masking your source code with your site being robot friendly, we are trying to firgure this out. In the mean time one way is to drop down your source code one page and at the very top add something like site protected. This can fool many people because some won’t realize all they have to do is scroll down.
All I know is something has to be done about scrappers and various other things. I know this may all sound confusing but bare with me. Greek39
P.S Dominique go to yahoo type in my domian http://www.onlinegambling7.com and look for the redirects I found lots on page three. The person in charge of this search engine sitepage.nl did this for me after realizing it was a serious matter. Is this a good thing not sure but it certainly screwed the people scraping my site.
