Hey guys,
I have Microgaming, Playtech, and Cryptologic casino progressives tracked and I have RTG ready to go on my site.
The one I have been having trouble with is OddsOn. I do not want tickers, I want to be able to query the jackpot values. I am sure a few webmasters here know where the file is that I need (much like MG, PT, WL, and RTG). If you do, would you mind telling me?
I always have a tough time getting this through the aff managers because it just seems that they either do not know or just can’t get the info.
Thanks!
kw
October 25, 2005 at 8:59 pm #675056AnonymousInactiveI have a script somewhere that pulls the oddson numbers directly. When I asked them for permission to use it they refused quoting security issues (not sure what they were talking about, if you can view the page on a standard browser then I can’t see where the security issue is for pulling them with a php cron job)
I ran the script for a few month and they didn’t say anything about it
October 27, 2005 at 4:33 pm #675168AnonymousInactiveYou don’t want it. I think Odds On is probably out of business, given that their domain now returns 404.
October 27, 2005 at 5:07 pm #675171AnonymousInactiveWow! Well, not all that surprising.
October 27, 2005 at 5:19 pm #675172vladcizsolMemberGee, Nobody bothered to tell Casino Coins or the Fire And Ice casino that OddsOn had gone out of business… :lookaroun :1circling :highflyer
KW I am going to move this down to the Casino Coins area so that the OddsOn folks will notice it and hopefully provide an answer or tips on pulling the jackpot data.

October 28, 2005 at 4:05 am #675199AnonymousInactiveI thought English Harbour had moved to a new platform?
October 28, 2005 at 5:30 am #675201AnonymousInactivethey just updated there software
October 28, 2005 at 6:43 am #675203AnonymousInactiveI had impression that OddsOn and Vegas Technology were two different software brands after reading their press release.
“Developing our own proprietary casino software was a logical progression to keep the company at the forefront of the burgeoning online gaming industry,” said Paul Sudolski, President of EnglishHarbour.com.
But if OddsOn was owned by EH, we can say they just upgraded the software.
October 28, 2005 at 11:16 am #675216vladcizsolMemberOddsOn updated their software and dubbed it Platinum.
Other then bringing on a couple of new properties everything else is still the same in OddsOn land.
October 28, 2005 at 5:28 pm #675247AnonymousInactiveWhat OCF said. I could not find anything remotely similar about the two platforms.
EH may still be EH, and may have updated their platform, but as far as I can tell Odds On is no longer.
October 28, 2005 at 5:38 pm #675250vladcizsolMemberOk ok I give up OddsOn is dead.
Do we have any more hairs to split?:blahblah:
October 28, 2005 at 5:49 pm #675252AnonymousInactiveSo… which software is behind the current version of Casino Coins, Fire and Ice, Hot Pepper, and English Harbor? Is this all “Vegas Technology” software, or OddsOn, or what? I’m confused. :dontget:
October 28, 2005 at 5:51 pm #675253AnonymousInactiveI’m triple confused.
October 28, 2005 at 5:58 pm #675256vladcizsolMemberIts OddsOn according to the casinos anyway. http://www.caribbeangold.com/seal.php
