I’ve been in this business for a LONG time. THIS is news to me.
So the US government is against unregulated gambling, but runs their own casinos…..ahem…..offshore????????
Unbelievable!!!
And a really wonderful precendent.
I would hope they had better assistance for problem gamblers than they have.

Anytime I get something like this (the congress quote above, that is) I check out the appropriate Urban Legends page.
