as im new to the business
is it ok to copy articles made by others ?
i have seen articles made by poker celebrities which dont have an official site
in my opinion these are ok. At least write whom is the author
But then we have articles made by official site / or sites that lives on surfers bookmarking and repeat visitors
Those i guess are not legal to copy

No. It is never OK. Never copy anything that you do not have permission to use. It is copyright infringment and theft. There is no way around it.

The web is cluttered with poker news copies, including sig sites from this forum.
You are not allowed to copy without permission ofcourse
There is articles that goes under free speach though.

Free Speach has abolutely NOTHING to do with stealing other peoples work.

There are feeds that you can get permission to use on your site. There are articles that you can get permission to use on your site. There are strategy documents you can get permission to use on your site. Notice the common word, permission.
Free speech? What does free speech have to do with copyrighted material? Nothing, with the exception that you have the right to write whatever you want if it is original.
Anything that is written that is original is considered copyrighted as soon as it is written. There is no justification or argument to using it without permission. It is theft. Do not do it.
Of course my first response didn’t say much. It simply said everything you needed to know in response to your question. Now I have expanded it.

You can hire writers at a number of places (eLance) or write your own articles. You’ll be a lot better off in the long run if you do write your own unique content.
There is syndicated content available on the web, but search engines don’t generally feel a lot of need to rank sites with syndicated content very highly.
