Dear All
There has been much discussion and debate about Referback’s 1 August terms and conditions during the past few weeks and we have reviewed it against your comments and requests, industry response and our business strategy.
I’d like to take this opportunity to give you an overview of the final status on the clauses which had been highlighted for reconsideration:
“Players lapse after 6 months”
The results of the “Player Lapses after 6 months” poll posted on http://www.referback.com two weeks ago reflected an 85% majority vote against keeping the rule as part of Referback’s Terms and Conditions. As per our undertaking, Referback has therefore retracted this clause with immediate effect and going forward, all affiliates will earn lifetime revenue on players acquired.
“20% Commission when an affiliate changes to a new Commission Model”
This clause has been amended as follows. The Standard Classic Model rules apply i.e. 20%-35% commission will be payable depending on casino net win. If you bring in an new active in a month regardless of the deal you on, it will count towards your fulfilment of the requirement to earn more than 20% on the Net Win earned from your players acquired via the Standard Classic Model.
“ 2nd successful purchase”
• Revenue Share Commission Models : Commission will be payable from 1st successful purchase for all new acitve players to the Belle Rock Gaming group as from 1 August 2005.
• CPA Commission Models : Commission will payable from the 2nd successful purchase for all new active players to the Belle Rock Gaming Group as from 1 August 2005, however, the player will be linked to the affiliate based on 1st purchase.
20% tier on Classic Commission Model for zero accounts”:
This clause remains but commission of 25% – 35% will be payable on players acquired prior to 1 July 2004 . This will commence as of 1 August 2005.
For those of you who are currently attending the CAC conference, I will be going through the above at the Referback presentation at Salon 11 – Stardust
02:15 PM , and obviously both the Referback team and I are happy to have individual discussions – so please visit us at the Referback stand or alternatively contact your Referback Relationship Manager.Best Regards,

The last bit – 20% – actually meets my requirements for players up through July 2004.
So sad – you’ve left me nothing to do but say Thank you!
September 11, 2005 at 6:27 pm #672736AnonymousInactiveDid you mean July 2005 ?

I agree – thank you Referback, for doing the right thing and getting back on track.
Nothing to do, Spears?
Sprtingbet is screwing affiliates worse than anyone else ever has attempted to do. They are just laughing all the way to the bank, paying players to switch accounts so they don’t have to pay affiliates anymore!
They are the lowest life form in this industry!
September 16, 2005 at 3:43 pm #672904AnonymousInactiveDon’t mince words, Dom. Tell us how you really feel about Sportingbet.
September 16, 2005 at 3:53 pm #672908AnonymousInactiveI was the one who stirred that hornet’s nest too… LOL…
However – as I have said before, my last action as an affiliate would be to resolve the issues with Fortune and Referback (and later Intercasino).
Not that I’m no longer an affiliate, just presently not an active affiliate – and now it’s time for some of you to carry the ball for a change. I’ve pointed out the problem – now it’s up to some of you, especially those of you who are SB affiliates – to make them correct this issue.
Do I see any hands? :fencing:

I did not know you alone were responsible for “resolving” ALL these issues. I didnt even know you were the first to raise a fuss. You truly must be a king among paupers. Thanks for doing all the work for us affiliates sir, we truly appreciate it. We certainly shall forever be indebted to you, so nice of you to stand up and take the credit. Good Job.
September 16, 2005 at 4:36 pm #672913AnonymousInactiveActually, yes, Spears has been working behind the scenes and has been instrumental in resolving things with Fortune and Referback.
September 16, 2005 at 4:44 pm #672915AnonymousInactiveThere are things that went on behind the scenes (which weren’t discussed here), and Spear did play a large part in getting things turned around.
September 16, 2005 at 4:45 pm #672916AnonymousInactiveLOL — what Dominique said.
September 16, 2005 at 4:55 pm #672917AnonymousInactiveHey now – Spear’s a good guy, and one of the most humble and helpful people in the biz…
September 16, 2005 at 7:28 pm #672928AnonymousInactiveSpear really did help out a great deal…
