Dear All
We would like thank everyone who participated in the “Player lapses after 6 months” clause poll which was posted on http://www.referback.com on Wednesday and would like to share the results to date with you:
No of Votes to keep the rule = 62 (15%)
No of Votes to remove the rule = 348 (85%)
Total No of Votes = 401 (100%)The final results will be confirmed early next week (poll runs to end of business today EST), and if the expected outcome does not change, Referback, will remove the rule retrospectively.
To reiterate the current status of the new Terms & Conditions:
For Revenue Share Commission Models (Classic & Partner Deal):
Commission will be payable from 1st Successful purchase for all new players to the Belle Rock Gaming Group as from 1st August 2005, so for all the Affiliates who chose not to move over to a new commission structure, there will be no change. For the New CPA Models (Cash Injection & Partner Deal):
Commission will be payable from the 2nd Successful purchase for all new players to the Belle Rock Gaming Group as from 1st August 2005 however, the player will be linked to the Affiliate based on the 1st purchase. We are currently working on the backend to support the new “1st successful purchase” clause. Due to this change, your online stats which are currently based on the Terms & Conditions announced on 1st August, will be migrated to the updated back end on Thursday 1st September. We request that you speak to your relationship manager if you need any assistance.
Kind Regards
Zane Green

Yep, the breach of contract issue, Zane.
You know my take on the importance of that.
It’s the single most important issue. Please don’t forget it, all it takes is to change it so it’s not retroactive and therefor legal.
August 26, 2005 at 7:05 pm #671786vladcizsolMemberThank you Zane. I feel like we have made some wonderful progress on these issues. This whole situation created a lot of un-needed stress for all of us.

What if that player fails to make a second deposit, will referback be paying the affiliate a % of the first deposit sense you refuse to pay the CPA? Eg a player that deposits $500 and loses it all gets upset and never returns; will you pay the affiliate $200 @ 40% or what ever their share is?
August 26, 2005 at 9:41 pm #671800AnonymousInactiveThank you for making this gesture of more reasonable terms RB!
August 26, 2005 at 11:12 pm #671803AnonymousInactiveIt adresses some of the profitability problems, but it is not adressing the legal problem of breaking the contract we signed.
It leaves us as vulnerable as we started out.
August 27, 2005 at 6:46 pm #671846AnonymousInactiveLet me just point out that this is exactly what they wanted. They screw you on a number of points, then give back a few and hope that you will be happy with SOME concessions.
Smart move. But that isn’t going to cut it with me.
August 27, 2005 at 7:53 pm #671847AnonymousInactiveI don’t plan on thanking these idots for a damn thing, first of all they should never have broken an agreement in the first place, 2nd is in my opinion Zane
is coming here and posting this crap and acting like they are doing US a favor! They need to go back and change it back to the orginal way it was when I signed up for life! Then when that happens I still will not promote this scummy group!
August 28, 2005 at 12:03 am #671861AnonymousInactiveZane say:
>>>3. “20% Commission Tiering”
Although this has been introduced into the discussions around the new Terms and Conditions introduced on 1st August 2005, this system came into effect during July 2004 and is not currently under review.
We do however maintain our original stance which is that any currently performing Affiliate that is adversely affected by this rule, due to unforeseen search engine issues, may contact their account manager to discuss an interim wavering of this rule.
<<< I think it bullshit
they say that they going do it if one efected by search enginesI have hear of none that get this interim wavering yet, even most was efected by US search engine advetising last year
Anybody get a wavering of this above rule?
Anyway they still need change it back to the orginal way it was
when we signed up – or I think more programs will follow and we will all lose allot in long run. :suicide:August 28, 2005 at 12:59 am #671863AnonymousInactiveAnyway they still need change it back to the orginal way it was
when we signed up – or I think more programs will follow and we will all lose allot in long run. That is the problem.
It was the first breach of contract, and it emboldened all kinds of programs to do the same.
It is the root of the whole problem.
August 30, 2005 at 1:33 am #671957AnonymousInactiveZane you are full of shit as always. I am very pissed off. Where is my damn money this month crooks? I hope Referback rots in hell.
August 30, 2005 at 1:38 am #671958AnonymousInactiveDitto !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 30, 2005 at 2:05 am #671963AnonymousInactiveDitto that! My stats are off better than 80% of normal something just doesnt seem right and no one has ever completely responded to these stats concerns despite have more than enough time to do so!
If you didnt already think they were trying to phase affiliates out I heard over at ***** that both riverbelle casino and bellerock group are on a link buying and link exchange campaign trying to SEO the riverbelle site! :3eyes:
:fencing: Sorry didnt know mentioning that site was off limits – seems a bit childish, but ok.
August 30, 2005 at 12:29 pm #671989vladcizsolMemberGuys lets tone it down and keep things professional here in the main forum areas. While they were slow to act Referback has started to make the changes we’ve requested. Lets not make it such a hate filled atmosphere that all conversation comes to a halt.
