Hi everyone,
A few of you may have seen the redesigned version of my site, Choice Gambling. If you haven’t seen it, check it out please! I am looking for some feedback from other affiliates and from affiliate managers too.
What do you think? What am I doing right, and what am I doing wrong? Is there anything I can do to improve the site?
I am adding new casino reviews on a regular basis, and I will be adding more optimized pages in the future. Is there anything else I can do?
Thanks guys; I appreciate your help.
May 20, 2005 at 7:46 pm #665862AnonymousInactiveLooks sharp–I’m impressed.
And I liked the last version too.
May 20, 2005 at 7:51 pm #665865AnonymousInactivei don’t know if it was your site or my connection, but the site was slow to load.
May 20, 2005 at 7:58 pm #665866AnonymousInactiveThanks Randy.
Ace — thanks for pointing that out. I’m not sure if it’s your connection or not. It loads fast over here. Hmmm….
How quickly does it load for everyone else?
May 20, 2005 at 8:10 pm #665869AnonymousInactiveIt loaded just fine for me and I’m on dial-up. Connecting at a whopping 19.2 right now.
May 20, 2005 at 8:25 pm #665872AnonymousInactiveWhew! Thanks pokermonger.
May 20, 2005 at 8:29 pm #665873AnonymousInactiveVery nice site, clean and fast too…
May 20, 2005 at 9:14 pm #665878AnonymousInactiveI tried it again. It loaded fast this time.
I do have some suggestions for both of your sites:
1) I suggest you add some more big name brand poker sites. Party and Absolute are good, but the others are probably too small. In my experience, people like to play at rooms that they feel more secure about. That’s why i recommend the bigger rooms. Some of my best performers are Empire, Ultimate Bet, and PokerRoom.com. Give those a try.
2) I’m not too crazy about the pink background on your poker site. Remember, most online poker players are male.
3) Your footer is messed up when viewed with Firefox. Example:
http://www.onlinepokercraze.com/absolute-poker.phpMay 20, 2005 at 9:53 pm #665879AnonymousInactiveIt loaded quickly… Content is easy to find and not cluttered like most sites. You did a great job with the usability.

AceKicker — You are right, my Online Poker Craze site needs some work. At some point I will build a new style sheet and update the overall appearance. (I don’t know when, though). Next time around, I won’t use “ems” to define the spacing — that is why the footer is screwed up in Firefox. I’ll stick to good old “px” (pixels).
I can correct the appearance in Firefox, but then it looks wonky in IE. CSS is great, but sometimes it can drive you nuts when you’re trying to make the site appear the same across different browsers. 99% of my visitors use IE, but still….
Thanks again for your comments guys.
