I am supposed to be on a CPA deal with PartyPoker yet still they have held back my April payment because a player that I referred did a chargeback on them!
Even if they don’t pay me the CPA for that player, shouldn’t they be paying me on the other players that I have referred???? They claim they’re holding back payment until my gross revenue reaches whatever $$$$ .. how the hell does that matter given that I am on CPA!
If these are their rules, they are CROOKED because even if an affiliate who is on a CPA deal refers a player who does a chargeback, if they were honest, the only payment that would be witheld is the CPA on that one bad player that was referred.
To hell with them .. Income Access ALL the way!

May 10, 2005 at 10:58 pm #665375AnonymousInactiveCalling the site crooked will not get you paid. Party Poker is probably one of the most honest affiliate programs in the gaming business. You mentioned that you promote Party Poker using the CPA method. There are a lot of scammers out there trying to cheat Party Poker by paying players to sign up and then collecting the difference Party Poker pays for the CPA. If the affiliate is paying the player 50 bucks to sign up and Party Poker pays the affiliate 75 bucks (CPA), they score an easy 25 bucks.
To help stop this, Party Poker is making sure the players who signed up generate enough rake to warrant paying out the CPA. Party Poker has a right to defend themselves and to ensure all sign ups are not fraudulent. Have a little patience and you will get paid. I am sure Satya will say the same thing.
May 11, 2005 at 4:48 pm #665410AnonymousInactiveyeah well to hell with them anyway. i’ve taken them off my site.
i’m not running any scams, competitions or anything. simple search engine traffic .. whoever happens on my site and signs up, i have no clue butwhy not hold out on the payment for that one bad player that i have referred .. rather than punish me for all … ridiculous!
May 11, 2005 at 5:58 pm #665412AnonymousInactiveHi Anthony,
I understand your concern regarding the delay in your commission.
There are certain processes in place and due to these the payment gets delayed for some affiliates. A post in the forum doesn’t help in any way to expedite the payment process. You must get in touch with your account manager in these cases. They have the authority to release your payments depending on certain parameters.
I got your account checked. It is under investigation and your contact has got in touch with you regarding this. The least you can do is to reply to the mails.
Cheers,
SatyaMay 17, 2005 at 10:50 pm #665695AnonymousInactiveAnytime your on a CPA plan and your players aren’t generating rake, your not going to get paid. I believe Party does this to curb people from abusing the system. You can’t really blame them, if your players only generated $32 in rake, but all 10 players deposited $50 and never played with it. Why would Party want to pay you $650.
If it were that easy I would have all my buddies funding accounts and tell them to withdraw at the end of the month, and I would get my fat check from PP.
In my opinion mgr% is the way to go at Party, you can avoid all this.
