Satya,
I was chatting with a player on one of the tables games and he mentioned that he was getting 26% rake back from Empire Poker. I mentioned to him that rake back was not currently available to Party Poker players. He said he was aware of that and then said:
xxxxx: that is why a lot of my friends changed over to empire
This is a concern to me because I might be losing players if they are migrating from Party Poker to Empire Poker. Any chance that iGlobalMedia implements the prevention of rake backs for all of its skin sites?
Thanks

We are working on something which will have long term impact on the industry as well as our affiliates partnerships. It may take sometime for everything to fall in place.
At this stage I can only tell you that we are working on extending the rakeback policies across all PartyPoker.com skins.
Thanks,

You sure know how to make me curious…..

This may represent an excellent opportunity for non rakeback affiliates to regain some lost business. Especially if players become worried that rakebacks will be stopped everywhere, not only Party skins. This may also be an opportunity for a major room to implement a rakeback deal that doesn’t punish affiliates. Party maybe?
