Dear Valued Affiliate,
I would like to invite you to join us in the launch of PokerRewards.com. As of April 1st, 2005 you can start to promote this new and exciting poker brand!
PokerRewards.com features:
This site is part of the Prima Poker Network, so your players will have lots of other players to play against – even on the very first day!
We are actually going to give 5-10% (depending on level of play) of a players rake back to the player! This will apply to any raked hand a player plays, not just winning hands! Also there is no maximum amount either – your players keep playing and we keep rewarding them!
Huge initial deposit bonus of 50% up to $200*
Special Player Refer-a-friend – players get to keep track of their referrals and make sure they get their bonus!
I have tried to come up with a contest/promotion that would get all affiliates, large and small, interested. To that end, we are offering:
$100 CPA
OR
35% RevShare
Even if you are a small affiliate and only send a few players you will get extra money for them!
Then on top of that, whoever sends the most real players (with a minimum of 30 to qualify) gets $3000 CASH!!!
Go here for creatives (there is a link in the copy to a .zip):

This contest will run for the month of April. If you have any questions or feedback, please contact.
Sincerely,

sorry we didn’t catch more time in Amsterdam. Perhaps in Miami then. :colgate:

I like this!
I hope it eliminates the issue of affiliates offering rakeback’s as far as Casino Rewards is concerend.
I would love to see Casino Rewards among the programs that don’t allow affiliates to offer rake backs to players in addition to the poker room’s incentives. :colgate:
April 25, 2005 at 11:27 pm #664709AnonymousInactiveHi Dominique!
Great to hear from you… I trust you had a safe trip home.
As for affiliates and the rakeback issue, it is a tricky topic these days. CasinoRewards has had to take a stand on the issue and we will NOT be allowing affiliates to provide rakebake or cashback to players.
I would love it if you could take a moment to post your views on this topic and the pros/cons of it regarding the industry.
Hope to hear from you…

Hello. I went to the site and can’t find an explanation of how the rake back works or the T&C’s for clearing the deposit bonus. Also, is this a new site or just a redirect to Golden Tiger/Virtual City? I don’t advertise poker sites I haven’t played at and may open an account to test the room and payout times but I don’t deposit before finding out how to clear bonuses. Also I have cleared bonuses at other Prima rooms (Gaming Club, Captain Cooks, Royal Vegas), does this make me unable to receive a bonus here? Thanks,
April 26, 2005 at 2:44 am #664712AnonymousInactiveHi all,
We do apologize for the confusion regarding the T&C’s. They are coming! In the meantime, to answer the outstanding questions:
Poker Rewards is not a redirect, it is a new standalone (not coupled with a casino) poker room run by the CasinoRewards Group.
The rules for clearing bonus are as follows. The bonus is a 50% match, and once deposited the bonus is deposited into a loyalty account that is released once a hand turnover requirement is met. The requirement is bonus x 5. so for example if you deposit 100, your bonus will be 50 on completion of 250 raked hands. (50 x 5 give a total of 250 raked hands.)
Playing at any other Prima room will NOT effect the bonus at pokerrewards, but, currently, you may only take the deposit bonus for the group once. So if you take it at poker rewards, you will not be eligible to take it Virtual city or Golden Tiger.
Hope that helps,
April 26, 2005 at 3:00 am #664713AnonymousInactiveThanks Ryan. Can you explain the rakeback in more depth? How does a player qualify for 5% 10% etc.
April 26, 2005 at 3:12 am #664715AnonymousInactiveTo give you a quick answer …
The value of the rackback is between 9-11% which we just say is ~10%. What that is based on is the level of table you play at. For example if you’re playing at a $.25/$.50 table, you’d be at 9%. If you’re at a higher end table, you’ll be at the 11%. It is basically linear in between, i.e. play a mid-range table and you’re probably around 10%.
Does that sufficiently answer your questions?
April 26, 2005 at 3:17 am #664717AnonymousInactiveI appreciate the answers and apologize for being a pain, but if I’m going to write a review for my site I want to make sure I understand. Just one last question and I’ll leave you alone. Is the rake averaged, ie: total rake divided by number of players at table or is it actual rake each person pays? Thanks again and it looks like a very marketable program.
April 26, 2005 at 3:50 am #664720AnonymousInactiveHi again,
You are not a bother in anyway! I’m here to answer your questions. I hope you didn’t misinterpret my last post re: ‘quick answer…’. I merely worded it that way because there is a much longer answer including the mathematics behind it, blah blah … I just figured that wasn’t necessary
So, back on track. To answer your question: It is the actual rake that an individual player does, not the average over the site. So if you are a big money player, you will get ~10% of that back. Also, raked hands are calcuated on any hand in which the player is delt cards and the pot is raked. You do not have to actually bet or blind in that hand to get credit towards your total rake.

Ryan,
The playthru is showing at 10X on my account. Did it change? Thanks,
April 30, 2005 at 12:26 am #664885AnonymousInactiveI have been reading this thread again – and I am not sure about the rake back deals yet.
Can you tell us if any of the Casino Rewards pokers allow affiliates to offer rake backs?
May 2, 2005 at 7:13 am #664961AnonymousInactiveHi all,
Yes, actually the initial deposit bonus has been updated to x10.
HOWEVER, if you had already activited the deposit bonus (we have different bonuses you can work towards) then it will remain at x5.
Cheers,
May 2, 2005 at 7:31 am #664962AnonymousInactiveHi All,
CasinoRewards will not be allowing affiliates to offer rakeback to their players. The PokerRewards.com site offers a rakeback to all players directly. This keeps the playing field level, so-to-speak.
Cheers,

Just making 100% sure we are clear on this.
I am real happy to hear it!
Casino Rewards Poker rocks!
