There have been a number of enquiries about what a CAP Certified Partner Program is and how we decide who is accepted and who is rejected. The actual process is not complex and tends to follow a common sense approach in application.
First, let’s discuss what the three primary objectives of certification are and then we can get into the mechanics of the due dilligence that follows:
1. The primary purpose we have a certified program at CAP is to provide an enhanced communication channel between the affiliate programs and affiliate webmasters. When a program comes onboard with CAP they agree to monitor the forum we provide them and to answer questions or support requests in a timely fashion. This is a VERY valuable benefit to affiliates. I can’t tell you how many times we hear “I have emailed support at X Casino and I didnt get a response”. When you post a question in the programs forum here at CAP they DO repsond and if they dont respond within 24 hours myself or Warren will contact them and ask that they post a response ASAP.
2. Certified Partners agree to work with us to resolve any issues or concerns presented by CAP affiliates. We do our best to get YOU a resolution to any problems or concerns you have with a certified partner. While we can’t force partners to do anything, we do make sure that their posted terms and conditions are adhered to.
3. Certified Partners pay a monthly/quarterly fee which supports the community and helps us provide this service. Affiliates are NEVER charged anything for access or usage of our services. CAP is NOT a charitable organization or association, we are a business service provider for the industry. We do incur ongoing server costs, software development and implementation fees plus small salaries for the officers in the company. These costs are graciously borne by our certified partners.
Certification Requirements
Its important to note when we certify a partner this is NOT a Guarantee that everyone will earn huge monthly commissions with that program. It wouldnt be possible or realistic to make such a claim. Anyone who has spent any time in this business understands that individual results with a program will vary. That’s the nature of the beast and we can’t change that. What we can do is help mitigate some of the risks to affiliates by rejecting out right rougues and by enhancing communication between the partners.
1. Due dillegence review by staff. When a program requests certification we do scan all the major affiliate communities to get a sense of what the OVERALL perception of the candidate is. If a program has an inordinate amount of legtimate complaints by affiliate webmasters then we generally reject the partner. In the past four months I have personally rejected 5 programs who applied that I felt were not suitable for certification.
Understand this, we do NOT like to reject casinos. When a rejection is made we cannot help people with problem resolution or facilitate communication.
We prefer to get as many partners onboard and available to our members as possible. That way if you do elect to work with that program we have some influence on them and can assist you if necessary.2. Accepted software platform / service provider. We generally only accept partners who are using an industry standard platform that has a verifiable history of performance for affiliates. Examples would be Microgaming, Playtech, a select number of RTG operators, iGlobalMedia and Cassava.
There are platforms which we reject due to a past history of payment problems with affiliates and players. An example would be Futurebet.
3. Affiliate terms and conditions review. We reject any partner who has what we consider “predatory” terms and conditions for their affiliates. Example: We recently rejected a Playtech operator because they require you to sign up new depositing players each month or you are NOT paid on the action of your existing players. This was clearly unacceptable in our oppinion so we rejected the application.
In closing I hope the above helps everyone to understand what we look for in a certified partner. Its not a fool proof system and you are NOT going to have stellar performance with all the programs we have listed here at CAP, but you will have their attention and support.

Besides the great community, of course. The certification process is a sign for quality, and representatives really care for their image here.
May I suggest a new feature? What about a monthly PDF magazine, featuring program promotions. Certified programs could even pay a fee for being featured. I think it would work
