OK, here’s one bad affiliate. (Wager Juction)

Greg from Wager Junction. This guy acted really bad at
my board. He came in as a member (Not as a Casino
Rep) but as some member who made bad comments
on my board to my members and spamming another
site from my board for my members to go. What kind
of affiliate manager will do such stuff? Well I notice
that greg does. In his email , the wrote a comment
about ezboard people, ” you ezboard people ” now
that I think is really wrong. People are people where
ever you go and by him acting this way, I have X-ed
his Casinos at my board and I want him to be very
sorry because this was the first time that I had a
argument with any of my sponsors. I try very hard
to promote all there Casinos but the way Greg was
    acting, it is not legit.

Here’s what Greg posted at my board:

” I thought i would tell you that this promotion is not available at Grand Aces for this particular EZ Board .Anyone interested in claiming a free $10 needs to go and look at other far better sites .A good one to go to is freecasinocash “

What kind of affliate manager will tell there hard working
affilate that they have a messed up site? See what I mean?

    Yours truly Scandle5

Oh, forgot to add, this guy greg also kicked me out to check
my stats. This is really Scandleous lol. Not worth talking
bout it but I felt I needed to post this for the future affiliates.

:hithead: I’ll be watching for many mistakes that happens and
    post. :hithead:

    Scandle5,

That was a exclusive deal between the site owner and affiliate manager.
Many affiliates work out exclusive deals with casino promotions.. Did you ask permission to post this promotion with your affiliate link?

Were you not told it was a exclusive offer? Were you asked to not post the promotion?

Greg is a decent affiliate manager.. but does sound like he was frustrated a bit..

    Hi Scandle5,

    welcome to CAP.

Did you get this promotion from the Wager Junction site?

You find the promotions available to you when you sign into Wager Junction.

Many programs test new promotions with certain types of affiliates first, so if you see one that isn’t in your affiliate program site, then it is not available to you.

I am not familiar with what all transpired, but it sounds like that is what happened here – a misunderstanding. Perhaps you can tell Greg you didn’t know and he’ll reinstate you and all can go on happily.

First, I was not the one who posted. It was there when I came from my regular job. 2nd, All I did was put my banner with the post, and to clarify,
There is no such means of an affiliate manager to act the way he did, even though an affiliate made a mistake. He posted ” My Site was bad ” and my members should find a better site. The second thing was that Greg posted another link ” SPAMMM” for my members to go. What do you think guys? Did I do something that terrible for this reaction? from this affiate manager to post such things at my board? There is no affiate manager who treats there affiate with such manner and rudeness. He even try to email and scare me that he will let others know that I am evil. Greg, please, if a Casino affliate manager try to treaten a member like that, it will show how you all run business and I told you before, I don’t play.

I don’t think so. All I got to say to greg is :drink:

Did you change the orginal link at all? Put your affiliate code?
If so, then you should have asked Greg first..

If your visitors wanted the promotion, then greg was telling them, they must go through the orginal site to get it.. Since it was a deal between that site owner and Greg..

” other far better sites ” this was prob not the best thing to say..

OK, I am telling you, that was not the main issue.
The main problem was how Greg handled the problem.
When I got his email at first about bringing the banner
down, I was very resonable with him but when I saw what
he posted at my forum. I had to email him back and the
way he acted, come on, tell me this. HOW CAN AN AFFILIATE
MANAGER TELL THERE AFFIALTE THAT HE HAS A UGLY BOARD????
AND SPAMING TO MY MEMBERS???? to go somewhere else.
This is my point guys. Don’t you see it? This guy was very
selfish to his own affiliate who works hard to promote his
site. He should be lucky even if we bring him traffic, But no
he makes fun of my board, my members and SPAM which is
very, very un legit to me. Business should always run legit,
if you gonna scam, scam your self, not the people who
are working darn hard to promote your place.

Like I said before, I love this forum and I will do my best
to bring many interesting things that I face near future :capmiami:

Thanks, I’m not a bad guy, I work real hard to promote the Casinos and you could ask any of my Sponsors. I try my best but when an affiliated manager like Greg acts the way he does, I don’t want to be any part of that Casinos and there group. It’s not always about the money, I can work with some Sponsors that no body in the world will deposit for month or 2 without any kind of selfish act but this incident with Greg was bad enough for me to X-LIST them. They been X-ed forever at my site. :nono:

( You want to know who you work for? well make sure that your boss is legit )

My advise of the day,,,,,,, :capmiami:

This is what I think. affiliates are most times getting
riped off, somehow by some Casinos. I understand
and there are many ways, that we can hurt them.
They just don’t understand but I think that an affiliate
manager represent the Casinos he or she are working for
and if they do something wrong well, they must pay.
It does not matter if they changed management. It seems
many pass casinos that were not legit in the pass were
always saying they have changed management to clear
there impression. I think that is why affiliates get abused
allot by some of this Casinos. When one represents a team
they should always act legit or they go down with all the
rest of the Casinos that failed. Thanks for reading. :hithead:

:hithead: And everyone who disagree can say something to
me for I have nothing to gain or loose on this but all of this
is coming from my heart. Most affiliates spend great time
making and promoting the Casinos and it is not right for them
to scam any of this guys. I’ll make sure every Scandleous stuff
that happens, I post and post and post :hithead:

” other far better sites ” this was prob not the best thing to say..

I couldn’t agree more. Any time an aff manager badmouths one of their affs sites for no good reason, it is a tacky (and incredibly stupid) thing to do.

Even if he thought the offer had been posted with malicious intent of some kind, he still should have taken the high road and simply stated for the record that the offer in question was given only to sites that with affiliates earning “far better”, and then if he had an issue or wanted to insult you, he should have done it in a non-public way.

But the way he worded it: it sounds like an attack on the site/site’s owner. I cannot for the life of me figure to what positive end he was seeking by making such a comment.

On a side note: IMHO its likely that more than 80% of the hard feelings that happen that involve the net; are due to someone’s mis-reading another’s words or the words were not presented clearly enough to project the intention behind them. And like it or not, words are our business.

I don’t care how smart or fancy your website is; if your emails, site content, or forum posts are not received in a manner which isn’t insulting, threatening, or patronizing, then you are not going to get the kind of response you had hoped for unless you were shooting for driving people away.

cheap shots such as “far better sites” are IMHO easily spotted, quickly noted, and filed under “keep that person far away from me, and don’t give them any credibility from now on because I’ve seen how petty and low they are willing to go”.

I have to agree with scandle, the affiliate rep handled himself very inappropriately. Regardless of WHY he was there, the words “far better” should have never come into play. Bad business and bad represenation of your properties, sir. But I guess something valuable came out of this for you, scandle, you really do have to investigate what’s written on your forum. It is for your own protection as well as your visitors’ benefit.

This isn’t the first time Greg has acted unprofessionally.
