Hi everyone,
I would really appreciate it if you could take a look at my new site, http://www.choicegambling.com. I built the site entirely from scratch with Notepad. I will be adding a lot more content to the site in the future, but I wanted to ask for some opinions before I got too far along.
How does it look on your browser? What do you think of the colors, fonts, mouseover effects, etc. If you were a potential player, what would you think of my site?
Any and all feedback is welcome! Thanks guys! :colgate:

I’d be very interested to see how it performs without banners.

Heh — me too. :colgate: I think I may add a few images here and there, but I am curious as to whether the absence of banners will be a good thing or a bad thing. Personally I don’t like banners, and I very rarely click on them (I worry that spyware and adware will be downloaded onto my computer).
For those people with click tracking programs, do more people click your banners, or your text links?

Well, I was hoping the ladies would like the colors, but I don’t want any men to close the browser the minute they see the color scheme.Guys, what do you think? Is this color scheme a turn-off? Is there too much pink and purple? Thanks to CSS, I can change all the colors in a snap. I’ll leave it alone for now, though, so everyone has a chance to comment on the current colors.
Thanks for the comments so far! 😎

I think the absence of banners and the very light color scheme, is a good thing. If you add some more content, and keep things clean as they are, I think you can do well. The site opens any internal link almost instantaneously on my connection.
I think it is very good work, and you should try keeping on that line, and have other gambling related websites with other development strategies.

The source code is simple and clean, and of course the lack of images definitely helps with the load time. Also, thanks for the feedback about the color scheme. I may change the pink links to a shade of red, but I still haven’t decided yet.
I am planning to add quite a bit of content in the coming weeks and months. It’s kind of embarrassing (to me) how little it has right now, but I wanted to get the site online ASAP for the search engines to find.
Thanks again for the positive comments.
