Hi everyone,
I really like J-J but before I began splattering their casinos all over my websites I thought I would just ask what others experiences have been like with GW.
I’m so damn gunshy about listing anything RTG because even if I can count on the casino to pay the players, I still have that little drawback that every single RTG I have listed since I saw Windows fall out of favor; (a long time ago), all the stats I’ve ever seen with any RTG casinos since then has had rediculous charges/ manager credits/ other BS
to the point they are no longer attractive to me on a financial basis.
Now that said; GW offers a nice option to the usual 30 – 50% promised commission minus of course; the manager credits/bonuses etc. Which usually cover about 90% of all possible profit from most RTGs.
okay, the above might be exaggerated but not in respect to my stats. its under actually.
but the option to take the 15% of deposits without any deductions IS attractive to me; but then it dawned on me that hell I had some great pitches to push the WagerProfits casinos and never saw enough income to even pay for the traffic I sent them. –
So my question is this: is it even worth the time to mess with the RTGs?
I mean, can anybody here who sees say…. 10k a month from any one sponsor; say they also see that much from an RTG casino sponsor?
can you say you see 50% of what you see from MGs casinos?
That’s net profit sent to you in a payment btw; not …..”well I made that much but they took 80% of it to give towards new bonuses”.
just curious. Thanks in advance for your replies.

I like Sci Fi Casino and Breakaway Casino a lot, but just can’t seem to make any money with them either.
January 3, 2005 at 4:25 pm #659664vladcizsolMemberRTGs in general are a distant third for me in terms of income to Microgaming and Playtech. I am giving a Cirrus a push this month so I will let you know how they do.
Quote:I like Sci Fi Casino and Breakaway Casino a lot, but just can’t seem to make any money with them either.Yeah this beats the shit out of me too as I really like Jeff and feature them heavily through out many of my niche sites. I make under $200 a month with them and never seem to vary much.
January 3, 2005 at 5:51 pm #659668AnonymousInactiveFor most of last year I was had Sci Fi and Vegas Break links up … I sent about the same amount of traffic to each and NEVER saw a dime at Vegas Break. I found that very weird contacted Jeff several times through-out the year and never got responses to any of the inquiries regarding stats questions.
The links were only up on a handful of my sites and the limited traffic makes anywhere from 0-1500 yah it hasnt been very consistent, but Im content with the limited exposure theyve gotten. I have however removed the Vegas Break links and will increase Sci Fis exposure to see if I can boost the returns.

January 3, 2005 at 8:47 pm #659678AnonymousInactiveWell if you compare casino by casino and not program. Some RTG actually do better than some Microgaming casinos. I find Cirrus, Coot Cat, Palace of Chance, Break Away, Sci Fi to all do well ( I was one of the first people to sign up for Sci Fi and never had a problem with them ). I don’t promote a lot of RTG casinos.
I also know that realtimegaming itself has made changes with the affiliate program and will be making more. This includes the removal of the remove player from affiliate button ( no longer there ), also expect changes with the way reporting goes on manager credits etc. The new guy working at RTG does seem committed to making the affiliate program much better, where affiliates will trust the stat more.

Mongoose, you’re too funny! good one. lol
January 3, 2005 at 11:12 pm #659682AnonymousGuestIn my opinion, RTG is an easy sell to players, because their software is great. I can’t say anything about manager credits because, frankly, I haven’t sent any RTG casino enough traffic for me to make any judgements one way or the other. What deposits I have had, though, for SOME RTG programs, did seem to be sucked away through manager credits.
I make some money every month with Gambling Wages, although I’m not pushing them apart from having a review for Cool Cat Casino on the site, and there haven’t been any strange manager credits deducted. I have to say I’m happy with their program.
I sincerely hope RTG software can redo the stats in the favour of affiliates, because they have a top knotch product.
January 4, 2005 at 1:09 am #659688AnonymousInactiveIf you push the video poker, RTG should convert well. That’s our no. 1 software, we do an average of $4000 a month between Sci-Fi, Portofino, Gambling Wages.
Jeff’s casinos are our top performers, this month we did $2000 with him and that was a bad month.January 4, 2005 at 2:04 am #659690AnonymousInactiveThe only RTGs to ever earn me anything are slots fever, gold key, and windows casino. I sent a crap load of traffic to the scifi group with no conversions.
January 4, 2005 at 4:26 am #659694AnonymousInactiveOnly RTGs to pay me have been BetMax and SciFi
I was about to pull Jeffs casinos but I got a player finally – long time coming in my opinion.
Both slow earners for me.
January 4, 2005 at 4:47 am #659698AnonymousInactiveI think in the future RTG is going to improve a lot. Right now it isn’t the best software for slots players, but they are going to be adding a lot more slots games in the future. I think the plan was to add 2 new slot machines per month. Plus they plan on adding multi language tables and currency soon.
Just something to think about before you give up on them. 2005 should have a lot of changes.
January 4, 2005 at 3:58 pm #659712AnonymousInactiveRTG has never done much for me, but it is a vicious circle, because I have never taken the trouble to give them a real push…
This thread is interesting, because, once again, it shows that (thankfully) two different affs can promote the same program with different results. In other (brick and mortar I am thinking of) businesses the customer type is broken down into categories a lot more precisely.
It would be interesting to know the gender, income, age, online experience, gambling experience etc. of players sent by different affs. I bet we could see perfect patterns as to who converts with what type site and what type casino.
January 5, 2005 at 12:33 am #659731AnonymousGuestif only the sponsors would make it possible for us to know these things we could refine our targeting much more; but the biggest step in the right direction that I have come across recently was when Wagershare updated and now their stats at least let me know what my players are mostly playing.
I was completely taken by surprise to find out how prevalent slots are.
Now after having that to consider; I think it makes perfect sense that slots are so prevalent. I mean if you trust a slot machine in a land based casino; you’re more or less sticking your money in and waiting to see if this machine is going to payback or not; why not the same mindset online?
Where as the card/dice/roulette players, at least a IMHO a good share of them; choose that game because there is little/less chance of any kind of tampering going on.
But for some reason I never considered that until WS showed me that the slots were so popular.
Mostly because I figured people would approach online casinos same as land-based. But now I see I was wrong. The hardcore card players just aren’t going to play online in the same numbers that trust playing land casinos.
I must assume that they either choose not to play online, or to go ahead and play slots figuring if they’re going to trust an electronic game; they might as well do it playing for the big jackpot payoffs as opposed to playing for even money.
I’d love to know age, sex, average yearly income, you name it.
I could custom build pages to cater, right down to having it figured for them how much they could afford to lose on a weekly basis and still not get in trouble financially. It would be a great service to them and needless to say a money making deal for me.
