Hi,
anybody know why the stats in the summary often differs from the stats in the monthly earnings? The summary top right after you log in.
Often I see a huge difference there.. mostly the difference is over 1K more in the summary than the earnings.
Thanks
February 1, 2008 at 12:03 pm #759875AnonymousInactivei had quite a long email discussion about that with Nick Yap.
(started here http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/showthread.php?t=23439&page=2 )
is not solved/fixed yet
i also send screenshots about that
does not seem to affect the “proper” stats

Makes no sense whatsoever that this would happen. Are they hoping that this is a time of day when we are not online? :sarcasm: Seems fishy to me.
February 6, 2008 at 12:17 pm #760202AnonymousInactiveI’m seeing this too, except every morning I seem to have double the earnings!
Damn if only it were all true!February 6, 2008 at 3:36 pm #760216AnonymousInactiveHey Guys,
There is a problem with the summary stat in the top right corner of the site that we are working on. I have spoken to many of you about this and my best advice is to click on the Earnings report to get an accurate indication of where you are in the month, as this report pulls straight off our back end and updates every hour.
The top corner stat only updates each day in the early AM EST. During the update, it is pulling data incorrectly for a short period of time, before displaying the accurate figure from the Earnings Report.
As I’m sure it is quite frustrating seeing conflicting numbers, I am debating removing that snapshot entirely.
As I have informed some of you, Casino Coins is in the process of redesigning both the website and the entire reporting system, so once this is completed hopefully all the problems inherent in the current system will be fixed.
If you have any further questions on this matter, please contact me.
Cheers,

What I find frustrating is net profits under traffic reports > traffic summary has had a huge discrepancy from net profits under money reports > monthly earnings this month and last month. Generally they are ball park. I have always been looking at traffic summary stats.
Anyone else notice a discrepancy lately?
February 19, 2008 at 6:43 pm #761278AnonymousInactiveHi Slotplayer,
I have addressed this discrepancy before (see quote from past post). The difference between the 2 reports you are looking at is due to poor naming conventions on behalf of our reports. The “net profit” in the Traffic summary is more of a “gross profit” number, as it does not take into consideration: bonus amounts, chip drops, or bad debt.
The size of this difference can vary depending on how many bonus hunters are coming in off your account, how many registrations and therefore $5 bonus chips given, how much bonus we decide to give away as special promotions to new or existing customers, etc. We obviously do not pay commissions off of bonuses lost back to the casino.
The “Net profit” in the earnings report, is a true net profit number as it takes all of these things into consideration and adjusts accordingly.
If you still have questions about this let me know and we can discuss.
Cheers,

Hey Rick,
The Net Profit you are seeing in the Money Report is showing the true Net Profit.
I am working to have the profit shown in the Traffic Summary fixed. While it states that it is “Net Profit” this isn’t the case. It does not take into account: bonus amounts, chip drops, bad debt. What it should be labeled as is either “Gross” or just “Profit”
I hope this explains the discrepancy…. if you have questions let me know.
