Depends on the site, but SEO is a good way to go. (Search Engine Optimization)

I have the same question as MichelleMurphy, so after SEO optimization, what next?

Link exchanges? How many well established sites are willing to exchage links with a new site?

Link building is generally considered a pretty big part of SEO, not necessarily as something separate.

Google’s guidelines on linking are pretty good–you should link to sites that you think your visitors will find useful. And you should build quality content on your site so that other sites will find your content useful to their visitors and link back to them.

Avoid linking to link farms and “bad neighborhoods”.

Two details about reciprocal linking:

1. Make sure to use proper anchor text to link back to yourself – words that you are using for search engines.

2. Consistently use the whole url – including the “www” as in http://www.mysite.com.

I found these things out the hard way when I was newer to this.
Just recently, my site lost its “www” PR, yet maintained PR on non-www (hope this makes sense). And now my site is divided into a PR 5 for the whole domain (with www pr) and PR4 for the non-www.

Would have saved me a lot of time if I had known google saw http://www.mysite.com and http://mysite.com separately.

you could collect email addresses on your site.
A newsletter for example where vistors can subscribe.

Welcome to CAP Michelle :wavey:

I would recommend some carefully tracked and monitored PPC ads and possibly some offline marketing.

Is there even any PPC’s worth trying?

Also, is there any threads in here regarding offline marketing? Not sure what works best? Radio, magazine/newspaper? others??

I do live close to 2 casions (Niagara)

Hey Edwin,

I believe you sent me a PM the other day … I did send a reply.

Have you checked your PM’s ?

If you have banners for Dolls Casino I will be happy to sign up as an affiliate and put up your banner at one of my portal sites.

Would appreciate if you would reciprocate .. there are banners available at Vegas Station Casino.

Thanks …

It took a while to get VSC off the ground, but I am doing OK with it now.

Good Luck to you.
