Hello,
I would like to say hello to eveyone on the forum. I hope everyone is doing well.
This is a great forum. Everyone is so knowledgable and so
helpful. So I hope you guys can help me.I’ve been on-line about a year. In this time of course I discovered
on-line gambling. Love it. Best thing since sliced bread LOL. I
can honestly say I’m not the best gambler, but I have enjoyed
my sessions. The games were fair and when I did have a cashout no problem. I have to thank the webmasters for this for
promoting good casinos. I visited many sites when I first started
so I’m probably signed up with a few of you LOL. Thank goodness
I was fortunate enough to have found good sites with good info.
I”ve gone to the forums and read the horror stories from other players. Glad I avoided all that. Kudos to you all.I purchased a few casino domains at the beginning of the year
with the purpose of selling them at a profit. They are parked
with a ppc page for each one.
I have a domain name that has been parked for eight months
It’s keyword is sportsnews. The ppc page is just sports news
feed. this domain has been getting typein traffic. These are
the stats:* 8 months
*187 views collectively
*23 views per month
* 13 clicks collectively
*2 clicks per month av.
*6.95% click thru rate on averageI also have a poker domain that is parked. I was contacted by a
gentleman that wanted to buy 75% of the traffic and pay $10.00
per click. . At the time I didn’t have clue as to what he was talking
about. I did not reply. At the time I was just interested in selling
the name.OK, I’ve had to re-think this. I started out with one thing in mind
but I see something else in the way of an opportunity. I do have
traffic going to my domains and I have done nothing to promote
them. So the light bulb has came on slowly LOL. Hint set up a
website. But I wanted to know first from the members if this is
worth pursuing.I would like to set up a website. Probably the sportsnews domain
first and then the poker domain. I need a good sportsbook
program and poker program..I need help with everything. I want to learn everything about the business. Any suggestions
would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the time.ceegreen

I’ll tell you what I did when I got started. I read just about every post on this board from the day it started moving forward. When I finished I had an “ah-ha” moment.
I’m still having “ah-ha” moments. More of them all the time. The more you learn, the more you learn. Poker players know exactly what I’m getting at here.
As far as poker programs go, I’d recommend Party Poker over almost all others, but I’ve also been pleased with my results from Ultimate Bet through Income Access.
Good luck, and welcome aboard!

The first thing you need to consider is that like any other business, it will take a while to build before you start to realize much in the way of profits.
In other words . . don’t quit your day job just yet. :hehe:
I think most of us were in the position of not seeing a whole lot in the way of $$$ for at least the first 9 to 12 months.
I agree with Randy in that Party Poker is one of the better Poker programs. Just be sure to read the T&C before joining any program, and ask questions of the affiliate manager if you are confused about anything.
Many poker programs do NOT pay for tournament play. Be careful not to promote these programs heavily, only to find out later you have attracted a bunch of players who are all playing in tournaments and you are making squat!
Other than that . . get in there and go for it!
Good Luck to you!

October 17, 2004 at 11:09 pm #656391AnonymousInactiveHello LasVegasLady and Randy,
Thank you so much for the quick reply and the nice welcome.
I know I’ve come to the right place.I wouldn’t have thought a year ago I would be joining forums,
buying domains, learning all about on-line gambling and starting
an on-line business. Whew. One thing just leading to another.I’m so serious about this I’m taking a few business classes and
English classes. I would like to do well and make a decent
impression. I don’t mind putting in the time and effort.I’m looking forward to being a member and hope that I will
be able to contribute to the forum any info that I can to help
another member. Thanks for the support . I’ll keep you guys posted as to my
progress. Have a good night.ceegreen
