There’s been a discussion of lower conversions with Playtech casinos lately here:

Perhaps someone from Casinoblasters would like to comment?
October 10, 2004 at 5:14 pm #655914AnonymousGuestHi,
ya, when I was in Vegas your reps asked me about where I had your links; and I took them to several sites and couldn’t find the links; so when I got back I did some digging in my stats and then was reminded why I’d taken down so many of your links; I’ve sent since like July, over 1500 hits.
I’ve only had one real player; and to your credit it was a tester I sent thru.
but 1500 without seeing a real depositing player is not good by anybody’d standards; and I usually have pretty good conversions;
and I list my current stats at casino rewards as proof:
date clicks downloads registrations joins profit to casino amount earned
10/01/2004 0 1 0 0
10/02/2004 4 2 1 0
10/03/2004 6 0 0 0
10/04/2004 24 2 1 0
10/05/2004 8 1 0 1
10/06/2004 7 2 1 1
10/07/2004 21 3 1 0
10/08/2004 6 2 0 0
10/09/2004 6 0 0 0
10/10/2004 9 3 1The red is hits sent
the pink is downloads
the next two sets of numbers are
registrations
joins (= registrations that deposited $100 or more)you can see by these standards; CB is sorely lacking.
October 10, 2004 at 5:37 pm #655916AnonymousInactiveI’ve done very well with Casinoblasters for a very long time. I’ve noticed a drop in conversions recently, buy player value and retention have both been exceptional for me. In fact, they’ve out-performed every single other affiliate program I’ve tried, in any industry.
But I think Professor’s theory about payment processing problems might be acccurate. If so, then maybe Playtech’s working on fixing it. This seems especially likely since there’s been so much feedback on various Playtech properties, not Casinoblasters alone.

October 31, 2004 at 10:17 pm #656943AnonymousInactiveI’ve also notice an sharp decrease in conversions. And this is coming from the same traffic that yielded me good result 2 months ago.
