Web Pro News just sent a newsletter saying that Yahoo! is penalizing sites with duplicate content etc. and that Affiliate sites are being hit hard and banned altogether.

It’s getting tougher and tougher to make a go of things if this is the case.

I can tell you first hand that I signed up for Yahoo’s new paid inclustion program 2 weeks ago for a pharmacy site and they rejected my pages and still havent responded as to why.

No spam or re-directs, nice clean design, good content and decent SEO work done, or so I thougth. It seems to me that the only logical reason may have something to do with Yahoos position on affiliate sites.

    Anyone else seeing this trend?

I haven’t noticed it yet. I have gotten a huge increase in Yahoo visitors to Gamesandcasino and a lot less from Google. MSN has increased also.

However, small seo sites do nothing much with yahoo and msn but do well with google.

I submitted 3 gambling sites to the new yahoo paid inclusion and all were accepted.
