Hey guys,
I really need advice on what to do about this jerk who is completly false in his accusations and FULLY out of line by doing what he is doing. Not only do I not know who this person is, but I don’t understand where he gets the notion that he can slam someone on his site when he doesn’t even have any involvement in this non-existent, totally falsified accusation.

I’m Mathew obviously and I am so pissed off. Can’t I take legal action against this guy. For one thing I sent the jerk an email about 2 weeks ago telling him that what he is doing is nothing but slandering my business and for what reason I don’t know. He has no factual information and he is going off of a few peoples coagulated personal vendetta towards me. Meanwhile, I search on google my site and his damn site comes up #1 with negative remarks….
I am very frustrated and emabrissed because I wouldn’t EVER consider doing anything even SLIGHTLY shady or improper and have always remained integral in this business.
If anyone of you veterans could assist me it would be greatly appreciated because this is unfair propaganda against myself. I have already had to reorganize alot of my business because of this crap and it’s a very f’d up situation.

I tried that originally, nothing specifically legal and he persists on doing what he is doing without even bothering to account the fact that he is blowing the tiniest situation so far from any kind of SCAM it’s almost sickening how someone can take an inch and go a mile. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr im soooooo mad again.

Look at it this way.
I highly, highly doubt that he can hurt your business much – but you can certainly hurt his.
Send a letter to his host, telling them that they will be the subject of legal action if he is not forced to cease and desist publishing untrue information about you.
He might not care about a C&D – but his host certainly will.
In the meantime, you may want to say who VD752 is.
What’s worst about all this is that the thread about you is the ONLY thread on the forum with any participation – which leads me to believe most of his traffic comes from you and people bashing you!
Thank you, I will do that right now. I was reading over his hosting companies T and C’s and they definately had a clause. It’s not so much that he’s hurting my business persay, but he’s labelling me as “scammer of the month” !! I am SO far from anything close to that and it’s just rather embarissing! I don’t know how he even concluded that without waiting for my side of the story or anything.
What do you mean about VD? Who should I mention that too?

I already emailed the dudes hosting company and that’s about all I can try to do.
I don’t have any mods any longer because I don’t even have anything to do with that site anymore for one thing, and for another they definately were very untrusting in the whole drama. On any note, it’s all childish and a complete waste of time. Getting involved with EzBoard and those people that surf around those boards is and has been nothing but problematic. It’s no wonder many sites frown on ezboard forums and the traffic from them.
I am completly seperate from all of that now anyways.
And for the record…how in the hell can an affiliate steal money from anyone anyways???
I just read the thread again and this guy is seriously backwards. I love how he instructs me to

Obviously the few people at his site are the ones trying to seek revenge and it’s ridiculous for him to expect people to come there who have not gotten involved or have ignored this crap ….it’s not as though he gets so much traffic that every gambler goes by that site everyday.

Hmmm… well it looks like he is giving you the chance to clear your name Matt. He agreed to lock the topic until the matter is resolved.
He also went onto say that you assured him that all parties with complaints on this topic will be compensated. Is this true?
The problem was resolved among the few people it even involved in the situation. My problem is that he sent out a newsletter and he has me on his “Blacklist” page as “This Months Biggest Scammer” followed by allegations that are completly untrue and totally lopsided.
What I’m troubled with is his unprofessional email to me, the fact that he misstated when he emailed me, the fact that I am called a “scammer”, and the fact that he continues to act as though he is an authority on the matter and is coaching the situation, when in fact I haven’t even really spoken with this guy nor do I feel the need too because………who is he?
He only locked the thread on my threat of legal action because he not only posted my Name, Address, and Phone number, he mailed it out to his email list and it remains on his site.
Bottom line- I haven’t done anything wrong, i’m frustrated with my first, last name and details being put up on his site, and it’s not okay for him to publicly slam me like he has done becuase it is total libel!
By the way – they leave out the fact that nobody had to or was required to pay any monetary units for any of this, both to play in the contest and to recieve winnings from the gaming and from the prize. In fact I paid $200 originally for people to play and I paid out the full amount paid by the sponsor. Not only have I paid out the amount frmo the sponsor which left me no profit at all, I have since paid out over $300 more = $700 from my pocket.
Now can you see why I am very frustrated? The only person paying anything is me, and not only have I paid out my ass with money I have paid alot more in aLOT OF LOST business and mental well being!
Can you provide a link to where he posted your phone number and address?? I dont see it anywhere on his site.
Oh..and just out of a curiosity.. why would they have to pay to play in your contests. The site is called Chips For Free..no?

Nobody had to pay anything and I gave away thousands of dollars in chips and prizes over 6 months out of my generosity and because that’s what I started doing the site for originally…….it wasnt a business or anything.
so for 5 out of 1300 members to launch this personal vendetta and then this Rick guy from that OSCA site involves himself from the getgo attacking me and totally dissing me without even asking me what is up, and then acting as though I was a casino and labelling me the scammer of the month, listing my sites, name, address, phone numbers, and other details is very very wrong!
Well I’m glad to know someone else knows what its like- sorry to say that dom LOL kinda sadistic i spose! I have visited that guys website, it looks nice I will read more later and contact him because frankly with all that I have lost I may end up on my own personal vendetta lol …….okay not really, but I was just trying to be tough for as econd

Do you hold a gambling licence?
