Hi all. Just got an interesting message from a helpful webmaster.

If you are exchanging links with the following sites:
    http://www.Slots.md
    http://www.blackjack.md
    http://www.roulette.md
    http://www.777-best-online-casinos.com
    http://www.jackpot.md
    http://www.videopoker.md
    http://www.onlinecasino.md

You can kiss your page rank goodbye.
On their pages they have a
    tag..
This means no links will be followed.. hence no rank will come to the ones in the directory…

Its amazing that you cant win without cheating.

If you want real PageRank links

    1. From what I’ve read on this cloaking, I gather that the site who do this benefit from incoming links, while not being penalized at all for outgoing links?

    Is this correct?

    2. If this is correct, how would it be if I emailed every webmaster in my linksmanager list to alert them to the .md crap?

    3. Also, I believe you can alert Google to this type of thing, too.

No wonder they’ve achieve such high PR ranks so quickly!

Every link count as a vote…
.MD is not voting for anyone but himself.

Just e-mail them and ask them to check the code on the page they are listed on. Looking for the tag. Also compare the cached version of the page they are listed on in google. Mine were not even containing links to our casinos. just showing a couple of old links.

    3. Also, I believe you can alert Google to this type of thing, too.

Google will find out.. Its like cheating in the Olympics.. you’ll get the medal for five minutes.. but they will soon take it back…
Cloaking like keywords and so on Google should accept.

No wonder they’ve achieve such high PR ranks so quickly!

If you all look at this uncloaked redirect script they use to link back to other sites.

    http://216.239.57.104/search?q=cache:FJlyKvaSzygJ:www.777-best-online-casinos.com/directory/c-380.html+&hl=en&ie=UTF-8

No rank coming from that link I can tell you.

I know now why I missed it, I didn’t have any idea what a automated Blogger/guest book spider script was – until now.
