Gambling911 has reported that
PartyPoker.com no longer permitted to advertise on the Travel Channel.
This could be a big set back if they have decided to reject online poker rooms such as Party Poker and Poker Stars. Much of the public “buzz” about online poker rooms was created by televised events like the World Poker tour.
Even though there is no reason to believe that the live poker coverage will be reduced or cancelled the on air ads for online poker had a very positive effect on peoples perception of the industry.
