Riverboat casino sent the following email to affiliates on December 1:
Dear Riverboat Referral Partner,
We regret to inform you that we will soon close Riverboat Casino. We therefore ask you to request any final referral payment no later than Tuesday, December 30, 2003 – the casino’s final day of operation. Unfortunately, we cannot process any payment requests after that deadline. If your payment is requested on or before December 30, it will be processed and sent to you as usual.
We sincerely wish to thank you for being a Riverboat Casino referral partner. It has been a pleasure cooperating with you!
