I posted this “elsewhere” and am currently awaiting a reply, I will post here when I get one.Hi Tim,
I received a disk for Ruby fortune from my sign up link to Spin Palace.
The letter stated that as a player of Spin Palace, I am entitled to receive gaming news and special offers; and this time it was an offer to play at Ruby Fortune.
What I want to know is; is our code embedded into these disks sent out? Otherwise, I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that I very much do not appreciate the fact that my players are being tempted to play somewhere else; where I don’t get the commission I rightly have earned.
As this is very important to others as well as to me; I have written you here rather than mailed you personally.
If I thought there was any sort of reason for not making this a matter all gpwa members would want to know; I’d not have written you in the forums.
but the way I see it; you can put a lot of people at rest at one time by coming back to me with some good news.

See if he replies with the same answer to what I posted in reply to his post on the front public also … that is what I was sort of relating to … cross promoting and getting our whales to refer others while comping them so much we make nothing off of them and that is a big part of many programs games right now …
Bringing these kinds of things out into the light is important
because if as webmasters we don’t know where things

I just talked to Tim about this.. He said he will be talking to the casinos about changing this policy..

I’m sorry, I got a response but was locked out of the “other place” before I had time to copy the post reply;
I will try to paraphrase best as memory allows;
he said that (and this is exactly my experience; as I think Tim is honest and the fact that it went down this way is a feather in his hat for being honest ;
anyway, he said they only send out the cross-promotion disks, which of course, do not have our codes in them, if after 6 months have passed, and there has been no activity in the account; then the email address gets put into a catch-all address list that they cross-promote to.
I said it was good that was my experience, it proved he was honest in his reply.
but I then pointed out how it would be appreciated if they’re gonna send out a disk; how about sending out one of the casino we already have the player signed up at?
I haven’t been back so I don’t hnow he replied.

Honest well I could refute that … player for life means player for life that is fucking rediculous … I am glad I pulled there casinos and will confront them personally as they broke the agreement we had when we had it … Those bastards totally cheated me.
Any email sign ups or downloads then revert to them arrgghh
I better sign out for a few minutes as they killed some of my advertising money and I am extreemly peed off fricking fracking mofo’s cheating cheating cheating …
i dont know if I trust them either.. But they did say they will look at changing that policy.

Lie to me twice damn them … Tim lied to me more then once and to my face it turns out as well the whole site is a fraudulent lie, states players for life 6 months then they add the emails to the list is not life, we do not even know if they do this really six months ….
After the ad money I spent and burned sending traffic that never resulted in a halfway decent player that is why I started pulling them in the first place … I sent numerous emailings also and none of the whales ever showed up in stats that are in the list and they show up in most other programs, especially new programs. I would have been better off throwing the money in my fireplace and throwing gas on it ….
arrrgggghhh I cannot wait to see his face at a convention. Skinny little sucker arrrgggghhhh I am screaming mad and still will be till april about these fools … I gave them top spots for quite a while …. the converions sucked and I got every excuse and begging for more emailings and a little more time as well.

well the reason I trust them is because I’ve made pretty decent money with them for about 6 -8 months now;
and yes, they have terrible conversions; which I can’t figure out why, they have one of the better looking sites IMHO.
but the bottom line for me says it all, and even though I have only a couple of players there; at least one is a big boy and I’ve been getting a nice commission nearly every month save one or two where the player won.
and even on those months; I still got 3 or 5 hundred.
I always worry about losing my whales to cross-marketing, so if I find a place that shows me that they are
1.) keeping that whale coming back month afer month
2.) and are giving me my rightfully-earned commission.
then that’s a place worth giving some more chances.and I think so far; WS has done that for me.
*note; another thing is that “whale clause” they put in their terms. though it hurts me; it also tells me they aren’t plainning on stealing ALL the whales anyway. lol.

dude they are dishonest though … you may make money but the scumbag lied to my face, in person, with obviuosly no remorse. I bet you have more then one whale they have taken … I know they probably took all mine and they take forever to return emails I am so pissed ….
This from your post shows why we cannot fight back against them either … they pad a few peoples accounts and then those people still carry them … while they pull in newbies that lose traffic to them. Then the ones with padded accounts still defend this shit … I had more to lose with referback then most but I have pulled links now day after after day. I have had enough of this rotten bullshit … The website is a lie when they take your emails and send to the casinos list as there own six months, a year, ten flipping years later the site says life WTF is so hard to understand about that …. I cannot believe any webmaster would defend this bs that is going on … Jeez its this easy to brainwash people in this industry, I understand that money is money but it hurts everyone as a whole ….
I just have to say trust them if you will but I am a good example of what can happen … You get fucked in the end and are left scraping and putting off bills for a few months till you get honest casinos back on your sites and your ad money back up to what it was and that ain’t no joke.
I know another webmaster with referback up and well he is stuck and he knows it … Nothing he can do but give them the spots or get BF’ed or he loses over a hundred K ad money a month. I did not say he likes this, I said he is totally stuck. damn us all I guess but it does not have to be like this for every one …
Badabing, I am getting increasingly mad too. I have only two programs I really trust anymore.
There are still some out there that I haven’t tried but I am really frustrated in general.

About how they would never cross promote, about players for life about the fact they convert so well …
I am in a pissed off mood … I feel that I got scammed with them and well I figured it for sure when none of my larger players showed up in the second casino they opened …. There site is a lie if they collect emails and do not give you credit when they email to them again even if it is 6 months or 5 years later ….

I do have to say they are the worst converting Microgaming casino I have ever seen.. I am going to try something for the next couple days. If this proves to be non successful then I will know forsure and confront him as well…
I agree with badabing 100 percent on this issue. I pulled them from my high traffic pages a few months ago due to extremely poor results.
