Hi guys, above all, I’d like to say this forum is fantastic. Thanks for letting me post.
I’m presently running http://www.wagerlover.com and it’s getting really hard for me to reach the avg of 100 visitors a day, despite using good metatags and having a Google Rank of 4, which I was told is very good.
Is there a key or something I’m forgetting along the way in SEO matters?
I’d like only 2 or three comments that might help me find ‘the path’. Thanks a lot in advance!
Take good care,
Matt

Good question. You don’t say how long you have had your site up and running – it can take a long time to get to generating traffic from the search engines.
Most of us buy traffic – from pay per click search engines, perhaps some bulk targeted traffic.
Make sure that if you do buy traffic, it is targeted. Otherwise you are wasting your money.
Also, type “search engine optimization” into google or elsewhere and start reading. There is a world of free information out there.

Your lines have been very helpful. To round up the info from WagerLover.com, it’s been online for exactly one year, but my metatags were enhanced almost 5 months ago.
I’m presently having an average of 15/20 visitors a day.
I’ll get to read everything that has to do with SEO out there.
Take care,
Matt:bigsmile:
April 17, 2003 at 2:19 am #638930AnonymousGuestCasino traffic is increased/earned by:
1. Pay Per Click engines, (like Overture, Bay 9, etc.)
2. Sponsored ads in Search Engines, like Google Adwords, Altavista Gambling Sponsored matches, Google Gambling Sponsored matches etc.
3. General Searches in the vast assortment of Search engines.I would stick to focusing your site to either per per click (PPC) or go the free route and get into Google, which is the only worthwhile search engine out there.
DO NOT fall for the lame brained search engine optimization plans that submit your site to thousands of search engines, or profess to get your site ranked in the top 30 in X number of days… These guarantees can not be backed up, and again, the number of search engines that are worth being listed in can be counted on one hand….
When’s the last time you looked for information in one of these so called “thousands of other search engines” that search engine optimization companies advertize? This is the biggest scam out there, and people pay dearly for it.
Reciprocal linking is key. And yes, your site has be online for about a year or more for the Search Engines to fully index it and find it….then, as you edit and add links, etc., allow a month or more for the search engines to ferret them out….this is as much a waiting game as it is trial and error….
