I use the Alexa tool bar as a general gauge to see how my sites are improving in terms of traffic.
I know Alexa rank is not the be-all, end-all of a site’s popularity or worthiness, but I think it is to be considered a tool amongst tools for webmasters.
I would like to know if anyone has any tips about cracking into the top 100,000…..
For example, this site is ranking 19,484….. What increases a site’s rank….????
Is it reciprocal linking, ranking in Google, etc.????
Any thoughts out there?

I think that the number and quality of reviews makes a difference too, as do links as well as visitor loyalty.
When you get to the top positions competition gets extremely fierce. Up until that time you advance quite easily based on sheer numbers of visitors.

Thanks for your thoughts about Alexa.
I believe I recently exchanged links with a bunch of your sites including gamesandcasino.com , slotsandpots, casinoaffiliatepage…etc… all the sites with the red white and blue theme….
I sent out reciprocal link emails complete with html….
Did you get mine?
I would really love it if you could reciprocate the links…
All yours are posted and active at my 8 sites….

I looked for the Alexa ranking for at least 6 months.
First of all Dominique is absolulty right … It’s ranking based on the searches made in Alexa toolbar.
And sure it depends on the quantity of the pages and on the time the visitors spent on your pages.
Alexa is not the most important in sites ranking , but sure you have to have it in mind.casinosglobe.com
