The biggest tip shared… Links do not need to exactly match the topic at hand, instead, change your mindset from “Does this match or not” to “Does this blend in.”
Honestly, I feel like this can make a world of difference.
With Link Building, what pieces of advice can you share that has made post-Penguin practices successful for you?
If we are talking about gambling, finding other website that would accept your article is obviously ideal, but very difficult, and insanely expensive. So what happens for all the new guys out there, with three figure budgets?
I do think that matching your niche is the ideal solution, but finding good websites or blogs, that are updated with fresh content and have good traffic can also be beneficial.
You drop the overly keyword rich domain name, no more www(.)onlinegamblingsite(.)com, and go for a branded name, such as bingobuddy(.)com. You then set this site up blog style. Build a load of good quality branded links (maybe a few keyword anchor text links to mix it up) to your homepage and write, write, write lots of posts…Target long tail keywords in your post titles and offer usefull, relevant content. The branded links coming into your domain, along with lots of social sharing of the posts(articles) will see your posts rank for the long tail, which is where the traffic is right?….shhh dont tell anyone…
Thanks jillo for sharing this beautiful informatin. Every one talk about link building, but no one talk ever about long term link building. But you are sharing such a helpful post.
