4. Keyword Densities: This is kind of an old one and a lot of SEOs say you don’t need to worry about your keyword densities. I’d say that they’re wrong. Now the point that a lot of them are trying to make (in many cases badly) is that there is no “sweet spot” that this is true. The problem is this is often misinterpreted as you don’t need to worry. If you’re an affiliate the thing you are contributing to search is your content; that is your product. So it needs to be well written. The fact is if I use the word online casino too many times when I’m writing about an online casino it isn’t actually going to help me rank for the term online casino and will actually set of a spam signal so I won’t rank for online casino. And yes, that was an example for you all of what not to do.
5. Too Much Content: Well, this heading may be a little misleading but it’s meant for those of you who churn out several very similar articles focusing on the same terms and basically regurgitating the same information. Now I know some very niche affiliates will struggle to produce content that doesn’t go over points that they already have, but if this is the case, be a bit more creative. There is usually some sort of loose tie that you can come up with instead of revamping a review of whatever brand you want to rank for and hoping that doubling up will help you. It won’t!
